10 months ago I went into Sunset dental and orthodontics after my previous dentist, went out of business. I had a dental appliance that needed to be adjusted, and the doctor agreed to adjust and better fit my appliance after the doctor made and built up my appliance It still did not and still does not fit I cannot leave it on for more than two hours without pain. also, they broke four times. I did see the doctor to have it fixed but they are so poorly made that they break easily. The doctor also suggested I put two implants in and the appliance would work better. I did the two implants and the dentist said that billing out wouldnt be a problem is so she pushed papers in front of my face hurriedly I signed them and it turns out that the loan they gave me was for $8000 and under be known to me the interest is 30% the real issue here is that my appliance does not even work, and I have a loan for $8000 on a seniors income of less than ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** front of me for a loan for $30,000. I went home I and couldnt believe what I just signed and called back and canceled that contract. I feel that I was taken advantage of I was told the dentist would fix my bridge and make it right and it is not right so now I am left with an $8000 bill and no teeth when I called they said to come back in the office and they would see what they can do I explained to the receptionist ******* that I would not be able to come back. I am scared to go back and spend more money on a bad product. I feel this company takes advantage of old people on limited incomes. I am willing to settle on half of the dental work, they are not willing to budge. I now have to go to a new dentist and start all over again my daughter and I called and spoke to ******* and she said theres nothing she could do and she hung up.
