I boarded my dog with Boca Park Animal Hospital because when I called, they gave me a good price of $42 per night. I informed them that my dog is 80lb yellow Labrador and asked for a proper accommodation. I was told $42 per night and additional charges for medication administration and play time were not mentioned at that time. There came a surprise during pick up of my dog when it turned out that the charge for a suite where my dog was boarded is $68 per night plus $12 per medication administration plus $10 per daily for play time which I agreed to after I dropped my dog off. So, it came out to be total $90 per night which is very different from $42 per night. I requested to speak with a manager who said that she listened to the recording of my phone call and nobody told me that the boarding was $42 per night which is a lie! They don't have any recording of that conversation and tried to make a fool of me, make me look like I am a liar and I am confused or something and you should not treat your customers that way! If they did listen to the recording they would know that their representative told me that. I have a very responsible professional job and I am rarely confused! I called multiple animal hospitals in Las Vegas and chose the Boca Park animal hospital because I though they are competitive. At the end they turned out to be the most expensive. So be prepared when you board with them they will try to screw you over as much as possible and then pretend that you were confused or a liar! Just be aware! They may have gotten my money this time but I don't support dishonest businesses and will not do business with them again! You have been warned if you decide to do business with them!

I was making an appointment with this particular vet (new) I was quoted totally different charges than when I was at the appointment .. when I checked out it was double the cost of what was quoted... I didn't say anything I just paid but I needed to go back because my puppy had a major allergic reaction to the vaccine that was given for heartworm (this has never happened before) she literally broke out in hives all over her body and her throat was closing... when I went back in for a steroid shot they had told me they forgot to charge me for the heartworm medicine another $55.00 which would have made my bill for this visit over $300.00 when initially was quoted for visit no more than $175.00 I was quite shocked and upset and the lady at the desk had checked my record on who made the appointment and told me that I wasn't the only one who told her that the charges were a lot higher than expected....She said she would have the office manager call me the next day to go over the charges... I waited for a follow up call ... no response for 3 days and when I call back on the 4th day to get a resolution the assistant manager gave me an attitude and said we no longer want you back at the office and your bill is accurate... No Customer Care what so ever!!!! I will never have any friends or family go here!!! EVER

    BBB,

This is the first time this client has been to our
clinic. We do our best to let them know an estimate of basic charges. When they
come in to see the doctor, he/she will give an estimate (treatment plan) for
the services we are recommending, including the cost of services. After
checking the phone conversations or the messages, on our recorded lines, there
was only one message left.  This was also
at a weekend and our supervisors were not available. The day that the husband called
in to yell at us, I let him know that his behavior was unacceptable, and we
will not have him come back to our hospital. We have great customer service, as
you can see by all of our 5 stars, but we will not tolerate harassment by a
client of our staff. For this reason, we felt as though they would be better
off parting ways. If you have any other questions, please reach out to me.
