This happened on Oct. 18th with Morphy Auctions. They provide live in person and online auctions so if you live in another state or country you still can bid on their items. I live in **************** so I trust and rely on the descriptions they provide in their catalogs as well as online. They described an item I was interested in as in Excellent condition, now this item is very rare and expensive because of how they work. You plug it in and flip the switch and there is muliple things happening with this advertising display in it's movements and that's what make them rare and expensive it's the movements. Again they describe it as in excellent condition which would make one think that it works, well this one doesn't and they knew it didn't work because one of the gears that operate the display has no more gears on it so it can't turn the other gears therefore no motion. I should say that this is called a Baranger Jewelery Store Motion Display. So I spent well over $6,000 with fees and shipping costs and when I finally received it low and behold it doesn't work so how can it be in excellent condition when what makes them rare and pricey, the movements, doesn't work. **** called them twice but I realize I am just getting the run-around.

Abysmal experience consigning with these jokers. They forgot to use the details they were provided when I dropped off the lot. Then they used generic cut and paste language in the description that wasnt even applicable to my consigned lot. They said they would fix the issue, and they did not. The pictures were terrible. They damaged the lot while in their possession. They never had me sign a consignment agreement- despite ME reminding THEM. Once I dropped the lot off, they basically ghosted me. Only after I posted about my experience on ******** did the FINALLY send my paltry earning from sale. Unprofessional. Unresponsive. Left hand doesnt know what right hand is doing They are a joke. They have no process They have non-existent customer service Avoid at all cost

**** and I were able to discuss the issue on the phone and come to a fair resolution.  I believe **** will agree we were able to have a good and productive conversations.  We took ****'s call outs constructively and addressed the issues internally.  Our apologies to **** for his dissatisfaction.
