      Unsatisfactory Workmanship in the installation of new Window Shutters.
      On November 10, 2023, we signed a contract with Bugsy's Blinds for the purchase and installation of new window shutters for 11 windows.
      The work was “completed” on November 14, 2023.
      At the end of December, technicians came to check the shutters and determined that some windows needed repair, so they removed them and took them to their shop.
      A week later they returned and reinstated them.
      On February 17 through an e-mail sent, we informed them again of our dissatisfaction because the shutters are not closing shut; The rods are not pushing evenly the slats; the slat sizes vary, and gaps along the frames are shown due to non-properly inserted hinges on frames.
      The first week of march, Rafael Ferrigno general manager of Bugsy’s, visited our house. After his inspection we were advised that the " job was very well done"; that, in order for us
      to prevent light from coming through the shutters he suggested the following unnecessary technique that we found ridiculous. Nothing of this would have been necessary if the job had been done properly from the beginning:
      A)Push rods by the center
      B) slide your hands over slats or louvers from bottom, if any remains open after this process push them one by one until completely shut.
      C) The installation of black out film at $ 570 cost per window or, installation of solar screens.

      We're sorry this guest was not happy with the light gaps.  We specifically show our shutters in our showroom with light behind them to show the gaps between the louvers.  There is no way to avoid light gaps since shutters have a lot of moving parts and are a fully operational window covering.  We thank you for your feedback and business.

      Seven years ago, Cynthia did a great job. It cost us $3,600 for 30 windows to receive vertical blinds. This time we decided to have valances made for 7 windows. The approximate maximum given us was a little over $6,000; but in the end the total without any details was over $9,000. I have made multiple requests for a detailed invoice with no results. Cynthia has ignored my multiple texts, emails and phone messages requesting this detailed invoice which she promised to provide. I live in a retirement community of around 16,000 seniors who redecorate or remodel regularly. I will now NOT recommend Bugsy's Blinds to anyone because of this lack of attention and response once the product is sold.
