Invested about $23,000.00 with Parkwood Investments ( ***************************/ ************************). Various excuses and false promises as well as false confirmation numbers have been delivered to me, but no profit (> $100,000.00) has been transferred. Latest offer of $25,000.00 has been accepted by myself and ****, however no money has been transferred to my account as of this writing. Their latest scam is investing in lithium mines, which they suggested for me with the (>$100,000.00) profit from the sale of the graded training cards.Business Response

Hello ****,
This is ********************* I have never spoke with you ever. This internet post was brought to my attention. The company has never sold any of your Ohtani cards or ***S.
They have been stored for the Asset backed *** Drop that is on hold till further notice. There are no profits to transfer to you or any other clients. ********************* is your rep in midsummer you sent an email to the company, and I referred ********************* to speak with you.
Please respond with and confirm you wrote this post and why? If you're communicating with someone it's not me and it will be easy enough to find out who it is. Please provide the phone number that you were communicating with that represented themselves as me so I can get to the bottom of this.Again, there are no funds due to you and 105k is a ludicrous amount.
I have not even had a BBB COMPLAINT from you and ********************* claims you're happy so I'm at a LOSS on what's going on.
After I reached out to you, I received this BBB complaint. My follow up to BBB COMPLAINT -
There is no other reason anyone would have to lie to you and say you have profits and monies pending to be sent out to you from cards that have not been sold. None of this makes sense unless some monies were diverted.
I can tell you with 100 percent certainty that you and I were never communicating via a text, and I was never communicating with ********************* regarding profits, checks, or wires from cards that are yet to be sold.
Once I have all the financial info, I will withdraw your converted cards from the Asset backed *** Drop and send them by bonded carrier. You will still own digital ***s that will be sold in a drop once ************* is healthy to pitch those proceeds will be allocated to a digital wallet at that time and the credentials will be sent to you.
Please provide me with a detail of funds sent wire transfer sheets, transfers, canceled checks or deposits with accounts
numbers the funds were sent to. Im working on it on my end as well.
Due to your accusations that you thought you were communicating with me lets keep everything in writing through this email address *******************************
So first you post you are expecting a $105,000.00 check or wire for cards that never sold.
Then you email me that you want $25,000.00. My associate ****************** reaches out to you, and you finally say you think you spent $7500.00, and you want $15000.00 to stop all of this ruckus, your words via text. This is over a three-week period. In the middle of my ***************** SPEAKING AND TEXTING with you I receive an email from the original poster blogger, and he states he's communicating with you. Posting your information in a public forum opens you up to others calling and portraying they can help you recover funds for a fee.
The company doesn't owe you any money. The company has never sold any of your cards or ***S. The cards were not graded until late 2021 due to covid and grading companies being closed, busy and increasing grading rates among other things. The *********** slowed down the 1st week of February 2022 when ****** invaded ******* along with the *** Strike. Thats why the company shifted gears and went into the *** Digital Space. Unfortunately, when FTX Collapsed all digital assets also took an immediate downturn and were in a holding pattern. So, the company was not going to send clients cards to auctions in 2022 or 2023. We did in some case substituted cards of players that were holding value.
Again,I sent your cards ****** and they were delivered 11-17-2023. Im attaching a picture from ***** of your delivery. Ive attached a picture of your ***** delivery.
Respectfully,
*********************Initial Complaint

Signed a contract with _______, Director of Parkwood Investment Group, on 9/24/20 and paid $5,000 for sports Cards to be delivered, graded, and sold as soon as possible by Parkwood with guarantee of $5,000 return to me. Cards were never delivered, graded, or sold as admitted by the Director of Parkwood Investment Group. Director promised and texted me many times over the last two years claiming that he was sending my money back (2/22/22, 5/23/23, 6/8/23, 6/13/23). __________, ********** ********** Treasurer, the registered agent of Parkwood, then texted me 6/22/23, on 6/23/23, on 6/26/23, on 6/29/23, and on 6/30/23 stating that he would and had wired the $5,000 to me. As of 8/6/23, I still have not received the $5,000. These people are liars and thieves. They have violated six clauses of the contract and refuse to send back the $5,000 that I am guaranteed by clause 10 of the contract. The Parkwood Investment Group ********** *************** ******, sent me a package by ***** on 8/22/23. I received the medium box yesterday, 8/23/23. I have not opened it since the contract states that I am guaranteed $5,000, not a package. ********************* claimed to me that he wired the $5,000 on 6/23/23, then on 6/26/23, then on 6/29/23, then on 6/30/23. No funds have been deposited to my account. They have not followed the terms of the contract. I'm simply requesting the return of my investment made three years ago since they have not assisted the buyer in the sale of the graded cards, they have not paid for shipping and insurance of the graded cards to the auction house, they have not provided shipment tracking or insurance information, they have not notified me of any delays. These and other terms were included in the contract, but have not been honored. I sent **** a text on 8/25/23, explaining that I just want the $5,000 wired to my account as we agreed.
The return address on the package is: *********************, *****************************************************************

The Guarantee of Return is clearly stated in Clause 10 of the contract: 10. ***** has a money back guarantee stating that he will at least make back his purchase price of the card package or Parkwood Group will pay the difference. This is shown on the previously attached document: Parkwood Contract .002.jpg.
Also attached copies of the texts between ********************* and ********************* each stating that they had returned the $5,000 to me by check and by wire numerous times, but each time they lied, as I still have not received the guaranteed $5,000.
The contract also states that I purchased 100 cards, not just the 50 that they claim is in the box that they sent to me.
They also have not assisted me in the sale of the graded cards (Clause 6), have not sent tracking or insurance information (Clause 5.3)

Dear BBB Representative: On 8/29/23, I sent two attachments to you which showed the text messages between ********************* of Parkwood Group and myself, and also between ******************* of Parkwood Group and myself. I am resending those attachments with the name of the person who sent the texts included along with the date sent. This may help to make the text conversations more clear to you and provide a more clear picture of their intent to steal my investment and not fulfill the terms of the contract.
Thank you for your helpful service.

On December 30, 2021, I was solicited by a business associate of the owner/operator of Parkwood InvestmentsGroup, LLC, who had enticed and pursaded me into investing $5,000. in a **** *************************** Patch Exquisite Coll. card# ********, to be a 50% partner and told me that I was going to be upwards of 20k, by January 30, 2022. I did my due diligence and In good faith, I entrusted these individuals, as I assumed that Parkwood Investment Group LLC, was a reputable company.Months later, The exact card with matching serial numbers that I was sent puctures of, with matching serial numbers was sold by a reputable auction house on Saturday, July 16, 2022, for $91,200.00. I was given excuses and then told that, that was not the exact card that I had originally invested in and as of they date they were unable to produce a card that they had said I invested in. Was this case of "bait & switch", and I was misled, with the actual card being misrepresented? From my initial investment of $5,000 on January 3, 2022, to August, 2022, I have dozens of documented texts and telephone calls, with excuses of unnecessary delays of payment of my investment. I had furnished them with my personal bank account wiring instructions only to be told the banker took off, too many transactions, the check is in the mail. I'm gnored and they dont have the professional courtesy to respond back to me and have yet to pay me anything what I'm owned. In August, I was told by the owner/operator of Parkwood Investment Group LLC, that I would receive $12,000, plus a $500, "Wait fee", as of today, September 3, 2022, I have yet to be compensated, so I have no other option, but to present my attorney with all documentation and take the appropriate legal action againt the owner of Parkwood Investment Hroup, LLC, and the third party business associate, for the compensation of my original investment of being a 50% partner and what other additional that *** occur during the course of legal litigation
