Hello I have been with Omni since 2023, I never missed a payment and my income is study. My pension actually increased. Yesterday I filed for a refinance which is not my first time. My income is actually slightly higher with a good payment history. Since this is not my first time Im aware that my allotments will still be the same with the refinance. Therefore I submitted a refinance with a slightly higher income and Ill be making the same payments I always been and it was denied. I asked for a reason and no one could tell me. I was told I would receive an email explaining and never received it. I asked the *** on the phone can she verify all my income was counted and she put me on a long hold to transfer me to the underwriter then she came back and said she will send them a message and she is waiting on a ***ly. It is obvious that this business preys on military members. Not only are their interest rates ridiculously high but so as their fees even when it is due to no fault of customer. As much as they have taken advantage of service members their systems are meant to keep us poor. You cant make any changes online, which is impossible especially knowing that we are almost always on a different time zone. My bank that ACH gets withdrawn from was closed by the bank. I tried everything to include sending them emails twice, and even calling and requested call back but nothing happened. After sending emails and trying to get a hold of someone, I then decided to just stay on the phone (mind you it was silence and I didnt even know if someone was going to pickup), took them almost an hour to answer. Gave them my card and I made a payment. The agent agreed that I shouldnt be charged a fee since Ive attempted to contact them for over a week, he also said that he was going to request that they wave the fee but his boss was traveling and it will take him about 24hrs to respond. Well, after 24hrs they sent me a message saying that my account is passed due?!? Like how is that even possible when I already made my 300$ payment? Also, why am I getting charged a fee that is due to your system/staff error? Ive made every attempt to contact them. I also dont understand why is it that they advertise military loans, knowing that we deploy, have training or duty overseas but dont have a way for us to make changes to our accounts. They want us to have a hard time making these changes so we can get charge more fees. That is the main reason why they make it impossible to change accounts for ACH. I made every attempt by sending two emails, made several phone calls and also made a payment but these people are still trying to steal from me and are threatening to report it to the credit bureau when payment is on time and the fee they added to my account is ridiculous, and needs to be removed.Business Response

Omni-financial was sued as part of a class action lawsute i was awarded a refund of $ *******. By the time the check was mailled to me it was past the window to cash it. I have reached out time and time again with no response.Business Response

I received a loan with Omni financial back in 2020 and they made me set up allotments from my pay check to their bank account. I was informed this is illegal because I am active duty military. I wanted to check if that is accurate and what can I do about it. I know they were sued for doing the same thing a little while back so I am confused why its still happening. My name is *****************************, a federally protected consumer, and I am making this complaint against Omni Financial of Nevada for their abusive, deceptive, and unfair collection practices in the collection of extensions of credit. In a conspiracy with the consumer reporting agencies to cause a restraint of trade and commerce, this debt collector has engaged in racketeering activity. I have never given this company any consent to be in possession of my nonpublic personal information. I disaffirm any alleged agreement or contract between I, the consumer, and the original creditor, whether implied or explicit. This account is a billing error. Please provide me with documentary evidence of the obligor's indebtedness. This company is in violation of the false claims act and is jeopardizing my consumer credit reputation with other financial institutions by fraudulently furnishing this alleged debt to coerce payment. Any payments made or future payments are a result of threat, duress, and coercion, due to undue influence. I am legally refusing to pay this debt pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1692c(c).
