    Took my phone into gadget repair off eastern to have a battery and screen replaced for almost $400. Shortly after the screen stopped working, when I was in there, I asked for a screen protector to be put on my phone as I was a returning customer and was eligible for free screen protector replacement after having a new screen placed, and didnt want to risk ruining my new screen since its costly. After picking up my phone, they had the case already on my phone and ready to go as pick up. Fast forward, a month and just noticed my screen is shattered in top left corner, so I went to check if it was the screen protector and of course not, they never put the screen protector on my phone like they had agreed to. So when I called the manager at the shop, she refused to fix it saying its not longer under warranty, even tho this was their employees mistake and error, now wanting to cost me more money for another screen when this should be covered being their company is at fault

    They did a back up casing replacement and ****** up my whole phone. Now the buttons dont work properly and they messed up my Apple Pay and I went and told them about it got they wont do anything and ubreakifix confirmed they ruined my phone and the shop said that since I didnt immediately bring it back theres nothing they can do about it dont go here. Also the parts they replace with are not even close to Apple quality. Terrible management they will break your phone and not do anything to make the situation right bad business. I got the repair done sometime in November of 2023 and the Apple Pay wasnt working and the phone was slower. The hotspot didnt work the same. I want the shop to fix the phone. They messed up the buttons and the other parts by replacing it in a whole new back case and wont do anything to resolve the issue.

    Their warranty is a lie. I had my screen replaced, 8 months later it was falling off like the glue wore out and my screen had white lines on it. This was not from dropping the phone. I went in to have it fixed, and they said the warranty did not apply because it only covered manufacturer defects. They replaced the screen, the glue they used doesn't hold the screen on, and it voids the warranty? Their warranty states the following: "All phone screen repairs come with a 1 year warranty." and "Warranty You can rest easy when you have your device ************************ with us. We offer a warranty on all our repairs and devices we have for sale. So rest assured if something is out of the ordinary after your repair, we will take care of it for you free of charge. Restrictions may apply." How is the glue coming undone, causing a bad seal on the screen that was replaced, not covered under the screen repair warranty? Don't trust these people, they won't honor the warranty, and will do a bad job of replacing your screen.

    We explained to the customer that the warranty covers manufacture defects like ghost touching or screen glitches from the actual screen. We do not cover physical damage or water damage. The screen has *** damage caused by physical damage and would not be covered. The adhesive that we use on the repair is the adhesive that comes with the screen. If the screen was lifting from the glue not adhereing this would have happened before the 8 month old repair. We are unable to return the screen to the manufacturer because it will not be warrantied. We offered to replace the screen for the customer for the cost of the part with no labor added as a courtesy but unfortuetly are unable to send it in for a warranty with the *** being damaged.

    I am rejecting this response because: The repair was for a cracked screen.  You replaced the cracked screen.  Sometime within 8 months after the repair was completed, the repair you made failed.  The glue came undone, the screen lifted off the body of the phone, and the screen was subsequently damaged due to that failed repair.  This was well within the warranty period offered by your company.  What is the warranty for if it doesn't cover the repair work, or the part replaced?  The entire idea behind a warranty is that it guarantees the work done, and the parts for that work.  Your warranty terms state the following: "All phone screen repairs come with a 1 year warranty." and "Warranty You can rest easy when you have your device ************************ with us. We offer a warranty on all our repairs and devices we have for sale. So rest assured if something is out of the ordinary after your repair, we will take care of it for you free of charge. Restrictions may apply."  This is the guarantee that I purchased with the repair job.  You are clearly in violation of that "warranty guarantee", by not covering the cost of the work and damaged parts.

    I dropped my phone off for repair, the back glass repair. I picked it up later, when it was done, and the whole phone was bent. It was clearly bent. It would not fit in my case. I explained to the lady at the time while picking it up. Why wont my phone fit in its case anymore??. She is like thats weird. After further examination my phone is clearly bent. It was not bent when I dropped it off. They are denying it. They refused to do anything about it. They damaged my $1500 phone. I will be filing a small claims court case against this business.
