    April 11, 2024, Elite Medical Center ER treated me for food poisoning: MRN ***********; billing acct #*********. Through Valley Hospital Med Center, Elite Medical Center ER billed ******** (primary) & ********** Blue Shield Fed Employee (BCBS, 2ndary) $397 for 1 prescription med *********** - but CODED IT WRONG as durable medical equipment. **** will pay it AFTER Elite corrects its coding error. Please convince Elite and its ************** to correct their code error, resubmit the corrected bill 1st to ********* then to BCBS. (The incorrect billing code is CPT code A9270, Modifier ************ code 0637.) *************** paid the rest of the bill. For security, I have inked out my ******** & BCBS ID #s in the attached docs. I filed a ******** appeal. I phoned BCBS. I have talked with Elite/Valley ************** many times. ************** said they received ***** complaint letter & agreed they used the wrong code but refused to correct their error. They said to call Dr. ***** whose office said to call Elite, where ER nurse ***** kindly transferred my call to nurse manager ******* who responsively asked *************** to correct the code or erase the charge. Elite has resolved nothing. Still I receive harassing ************** calls & bills. Please convince Elite to correct the code & stop its ************** from harassing **** sent Elite an email via its website ********************************************; no response. I also called the ************ billing help phone posted on its website ********************************************. They said they have not handled Elites billing since 2022. I also reported the code error via Elites website rating platform; no response. I sent a letter priority mail to Valley Hospital Medical Center; it was returned undeliverable.Dear Lord in Heaven, what else can I do when Elite Medical Center refuses to correct its erroneous billing code & its ************** continues to harass me?

    Thank you for your help! I just received a letter from Elite Medical Center in ********* that they have dismissed the charge that they had billed incorrectly!
