I want you to imagine yourself, entrusting your belongings to someone who does an estate sale of all your personal belongings and then never sends you the money you are entitled to from the sale. Imagine how you would feel.
In addition, imagine he leaves the remaining furniture and belongings in your home after the sale, contrary to the contract. Picture yourself scrambling at the last minute to find someone, at your cost, to physically remove the items so you can move on time and list your home for sale. Empty promises followed by endless excuses.
Imagine, since you are out of state, he retains all the money, knowing you can do nothing to retrieve it. That would make the person a thief and the estate company fraudulent. That is what happened when I hired Frank Naranjo and his American Families Estate Sales company.
The sad thing is I wasn’t happy reading his reviews before I signed with him. I didn’t heed the warning. For exampIe, what kind of estate company agrees to a sale weeks ahead, and doesn’t have someone lined up to clean out after the sale as promised? One that never planned on cleaning it out in the first place. He advertises that he does small estates. One can make a profit on a small estate if you keep all the proceeds and have no removal costs.
I have the texts and supporting documents that I am sending to Consumer Affairs as a fraud complaint. Be aware, just because there is a website doesn't make it legitimate and you are smart enough to know reviews on their own websites and claims of honor are meaningless.
Now, I want to imagine yourself…entrusting your estate to a different kind of company. One that is honorable, and trustworthy. One that is not “American” and definitely not “Family.” Take heed, do yourself a favor, AND FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY.
He will likely start up another website - maybe under the name of a different family member. If you find out you are dealing with Frank ******* you will want to steer clear, way clear.

For several years, I have been attending estate sales offered by different companies. This company in my opinion is unprofessional. I tried for 2 weeks to make an appointment to attend one of their estate sales. The 3rd week, I was able to get in touch with them. The salesperson said they were booked for that weekend. I was told to try again for the following week. In talking to this salesperson, I was told they have a VIP program and the folks that made the last few days, signed up and paid a membership fee for early access. They are the only firm that does this and its available on their website. That's all good, but if they are going to market estate sales, they should let the public know they require a membership to get access.
