    Late in January, 2025, I purchased video games from Retro Gaming Stores, and as of May 12, 2025, they have not delivered any merchandise, they will not answer at the phone number given (it directs you to the website) and they do not directly respond to any email correspondence. They are, apparently a complete fraud. Do not buy from this store.

    Complaint Title: Failure to Provide Customer Support and Process Return Request Complaint Details:I recently purchased a game from [Company Name] through their [website/store]. After realizing I needed to return the item, I attempted to contact their customer support via email. Upon sending my request, I received an automated message stating that I needed to wait 72 hours for a response.After waiting, I attempted to call the customer service phone number listed on their website. However, the recorded message directed me back to email support, with no option to speak to a representative. I have since not received any response regarding my return request.I am requesting a full refund for my purchase, as I have made multiple attempts to contact the company with no resolution. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter.Desired Outcome:A full refund for the purchased game.Improved customer service response times and accessibility for future customers.I appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue

    Transaction date: 12/19/2023 I recently ordered a ******** 64 console from Retro Gaming Stores and the power cord supplied does not fit the N64. It seems the power cord port that connects to the N64 is upside down. I attached photos that reflect the issue.My second concern is the condition of the console itself. I understand the console would be in used condition and by no means would expect a new out the box console but this console received is in a very beaten condition with damage to one controller port, damage to the inside where the game cartridge is inserted, and is honestly just very dirty. It doesn't feel any attempt was made to clean up the console after the company had received it to make it appear in a sellable condition. I also attached photos that reflect the condition and damage I mentioned.I'm hoping there is something that can be done to remedy these issues. I had a positive experience with this company about a year ago with a purchase of a pokemon blue game. I was unfortunately disappointed when I opened this package. I have attempted to contact Retro Gaming Stores several times by phone and email.Each time I emailed I received an email back stating my email has been received and someone would contact me within 2 to 3 business days. No one contacted me and it's clear I am being ignored. Aside from the condition of the console, the console can not be used as the merchant did not provide me a power cord that is compatible to the console. I have no way of even knowing if the console works because of that alone. I stated in my email to the company I would just like a replacement and if that can't be provided I would take a refund. I also was sure to reach out within the merchants asked time listed in their policy. Please review my attachments for the condition of console received andmy attempts to reach the merchant.Please let me k ow if any additional information is needed and I would be happy to provide it.

    On September 26th, I purchased defective product under order# ***** for $49.90 which was as also surprising that no sales tax was charged. This was shipped under **** tracking#: **********************. The specific game has years of history that fake copies will crash/stop working attempting a certain mini game which occurs but also now the game will not start at all after putting 24hrs 17min into it. I attempt to load my game and the screen goes all black with music in the background which is also the tip off that occurs with fake copies. Since the retailer only offers exchanges for similar priced products or store credit and many other games listed are low price as well, I believe the majority, if not entire stock are fakes they are selling to the public since older games are easier to duplicate nowadays. I understand I *** never get my money back but would appreciate an investigation to begin to prevent other hopeful customers as myself from being let down and frustrated from a fake copy that *** stop working for them or from simply buying a fake vs original.

    I ordered a gameboy advance backlit and Pokmon ******** It took them over a month to even ship it after they asked for my address. And that was only I asked affirm to cancel my Loan for it since I never received the order. Then after my complaint with affirm the order came within 2 business days which is a little suspicious. Then after my second time using the console it wont turn on and the screen is glitched. It went from working perfectly to not at all within an hour. They dont offer and refunds or any kind. This business is a scam and they should be shut down. They are just stealing peoples money at this point

    Purchased two games from this business, Pokmon Black and Pokmon Black 2, was sent fake games that not only are horrible quality, but also get stuck inside my gaming system. I reached out to their support team, and they wont respond. *** tried calling the number they have, and it is disconnected. How is this business able to operate with all of these horrible complaints and reviews? What they are doing is illegal and its pretty sad that we dont have a solution to this.

    I purchased a video game for Christmas from this company for my grandchildren. When I received it, i noticed that it was a super ********* not a ******** classic. My grandchildren wanted the ******** Classic, so I contacted the company by email for a refund or exchange because the game is defective. They said they don't do refunds. After reading everything that has been filed with you, I just want my money back. The number on their site has a recording stating that they don't offer phone support. I have no real address for this company they are using a mailbox business in *********, ******, so it's not a legitimate business address. As I said, I just want my money back.

    Order products from them paid extra for expedited shipping took them 3 days to get it to **** and that's were it still continues to sit via the tracking number they gave me. Contacted them thru email got a "sorry". Tracking said it was supposed to be delivered on the 27th of December didn't show checked **** website says its still sitting in ****** ********** **** (I'm in ****). Emailed again with no response

    On 9/23/22 I purchased 3 products from online retrogamingstores.com, the total ended up in being $134.70. After watching the tracking for the shipment, I saw that the package was returned to the sender and then back to my city, where it sat for sometime in the warehouse, after filing a service request with the ***** they called me to let me know that the item was sent back to the sender due to an insufficient address. After doing some digging, I saw that the apartment number was left out of the address. I tried to email and call retro gaming with the information provided on the website. The phone number was down and I hadn't gotten a response that was not an automated one from the emails that I sent over several weeks. As a last ditch I sent a physical letter in the mail to the address on the site and it was returned to me due to an insufficient address. After looking into the company some more on review sites, several people had similar issues, or they received faulty products. I then reached out to my bank to launch an investigation, since I had never gotten the products I paid for. Around this time the company responded to my email after (my first email was sent September 27th, I sent about 4 emails about this issue over 2 weeks) on November 10th and this was only after I asked for a refund and stated I did not want the items anymore. They said they did not offer refunds and would re-send the items if I paid for shipping. My bank finished the investigation and credit was returned to my card. However, I have gotten a statement in the mail from retro gaming claiming I owed them $159.70 and a statement from a debt collector claiming this as well. After speaking with the debt collector, they said I owed Retro gaming stores this money for the products I purchased but never received.

    I have an issue with Retro Gaming Stores because I paid them for a product which I never got because it was never put inside the Package. And they said in a email they dont refund People. So I had no choice other then to get My Bank involved for a Credit Card dispute for money I was owed. While the Claim was open the Company did absolutely nothing. Months later they get a Creditor involved that sent Me a bill for $125 which I dont even owe. I want others to know how awful this Company is.
