DON'T TRUST HIM! Uses a one-sided, highly vague agreement that doesn't hold him to what he will do or when he will do it. Recourse, when you feel wronged by him, is nominal at best. He has a bad and dismissive attitude toward the public. Wastes your time and doesn't care how he leaves you. He behaves like he's the customer.

**************** contacted our firm requesting services. Upon receiving our service agreement (which has been the same service agreement that we've been providing our clients for the past 20 years), he would not agree to pay the standard retainer fee. As a result, I advised Mr. ** that my firm could not move forward with the investigation. What followed were harassing and threatening text messages (most recent text message from **************** was received at 3:24 a.m.). **************** then proceeded to attempt to extort our firm by advising his attorney that he would remove the negative reviews for a payment of $300.00. We advised the Better Business Bureau of our legitimate safety concerns regarding **************** and requested that the BBB have ****************'s review removed, so to not encourage and perpetuate his threatening and harassing behavior. Unfortunately, the BBB advised that ****************'s review meets their BBB Customer Review Acceptance Policy.

De Becker LIED when he said that I refused to pay the retainer. I was ready to pay it contingent upon a couple of simple agreement edits. The agreement edits had nothing to do with payment. Only to specify what services he would provide and a reasonable estimate as to when he would provide them. Upon making those requests, he became abruptly disrespectful and dismissive which initiated the discord. I never asked De Becker to pay me anything. There never was and still is no offer for me to receive money from him in exchange for anything, including concealing his behavior against me. My attorney never contacted him; he called my attorney. He betrayed my trust by contacting my attorney. The identity of my attorney was provided to him by me and I specifically told him that I didnt want anyone, including my attorney contacted or told that I was inquiring about investigative services. He contacted my attorney in hopes of conveniently dispatching a third party to make me go away after he provoked his way into discord with me. He tries to boost his image by saying our firm, This entire dispute is between him and me. There is no one else that Ive been in contact with there. I also have reason to believe that he was the one who submitted a false negative review against my business in retaliation for the negative review on his business. He was never a client or prospect of my business. This was a blatant falsehood.
