This is not a legit company, this is a scam call center that pretends to be apart of a loan forgiveness company. I already lost $400 in damages and i had a feeling something was off because i after working with them, i ended up getting non stop calls from multiple scammers from india... Right when i found out i ceased contact immediately, and had to block them in my Emails and had to change my bank card number so they dont have access... Be aware these call centers are vigilant during spring and summer...

I confided in this company and was assured that they were a legitimate loan company that would help in lowering the student loan pay. I was wrong! I contacted the company several times with them insisting that they are still handling the situation. They are still lying today! I would like to state the amount I lost from this experience, but am very ashamed because I fell for it. If there is ever a class action law suit against Student Loan Doc, please let me know and I will sign up. They need to stop this!

So I have been paying since March 2022 had no problems really last year except they overcharged my mother debit card when I had to use her card for one of my payments due to mine getting hacked they kept denying it even after I sent them proof numorous times they finally put the second charge towards a payment after I threatened them to not give them my new debit card and phone number singed a “recertification” March 2023 that was good until February 2024 of 39$ a month called them in July because my card got hacked again gave them my new card number and signed another cc authorization for just July and august told me my payments could stay at 39$ a month or go to 296$ a month but no one knew what it would be. Been trying for the last 6 weeks to get on the client portal and can’t get anywhere with it called the numbers I had for them and they have been purposely hanging up on me and keep saying they will call me back but never do

So these people promised me student loan forgiveness. I paid them $600 dollars to do the paperwork and they had me send the papers myself to Great Lakes to get my loans consolidated. Well come to find out I was still receiving bills from Mohela. So apparently they didn’t include those loans and im not sure if they did anything at all with the other ones. It’s supposed to be 0 dollar payment but I haven’t heard anything from them since just that I have to do a recertification every year. I was told the dept of education does not charge you to do paperwork

EVERYONE WHO GOT DEFRAUDED- FILE A FRAUD COMPLAINT WITH YOUR BANK, NO MATTER HOW LONG AGO IT HAPPENED. ALSO, ask your bank to reimburse you the money while they investigate it. Sorry for all caps, but these people are predators! They seemed competent until they asked for my social security number. They also said that I had to have an income of less than $19,000, or a family of five in order to qualify for loan forgiveness. That all sounds ridiculous. I didnt give them any information, except my new address (oh and she said she didnt need the apartment number, which was weird), and when I couldnt pay the $50 because Friday is payday, they wanted to set up an auto-deduction from my account. Now I wonder if they were going to ask for the social security numbers of my four dependents as well. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. And to this company - please dont bother to write a response to this. After reading a handful of reviews, no one believes you. I hope you get a class action lawsuit filed against you.

This company scammed me out of $900 dollars after promising to have my student loan 100% forgiven in 6 months by preparing my documents and submitting them. They asked me for password and log in for Mohela, got paid in full, and here I am with my student loan still not paid. I have the phone conversation recorded of me asking specifically "Will this loan be 100% forgiven in 6 months?" and the person from this company saying "Yes". This was 2 years ago. *** tried to get my money back but apparently I'm going to have to wait for the class action lawsuit. If anyone needs a copy of that conversation to pursue any kind of lawsuit please let me know.
