This CO should be ashamed of themselves. They give false hope and prey on the victim's family by taking their money with no outcome. I paid in full 3 1/2 years ago and they have not done anything but take my $$$. I have left numerous voicemails for 10 Months now and they won't return my calls. I called today and the phone is unavailable??? Not sure how they are still able to be in Business.

DO NOT HIRE THE NPCP FOR POST CONVICTION PETITION SERVICES!! You will be better off contacting an appellate attorney in the state in which the case resides. The appellate attorney must be experienced with post-conviction petition cases. The NPCP is a scam. I hired them in October 2019 and paid them $10,000.00 for nothing. Neither the case evaluation nor the post-conviction petition was drafted. In addition, they falsely used the name of an attorney (Nana ***** ***, Bar ID# 87864), who is barred in the state of Virginia, on my paperwork. With the assistance of the Virginia State Bar, this attorney stated that he had nothing to do with the NPCP and that his name was falsely used. The VA State Bar told him to file a complaint with law enforcement. The case, in which I was seeking assistance for, is under the jurisdiction of the state of Maryland. I wrote a letter to the AGs of Maryland and Nevada; wrote a letter to the Virginia State Bar and the Nevada State Bar; filed a complaint in small claims court in MD and a judgment was entered; filed one in small claims court in Nevada; decision is pending as of 02/06/2024. The defendant did not show up in court in MD or NV. Every time the NPCP's Resident Agent was properly served, a person by the name of Freddie ******* signed for the documents. The director, Randy **********, is rude and horrible to do business with. He simply does not care. Furthermore, he is well aware of deceivingly taking money from clients. Unfortunately, this man is playing with people's lives. Fortunately for me, I was able to get the petition written for my brother and it was filed before his habeas corpus expired. At this point, I want my money refunded in full; however, it looks like that may not happen. Nonetheless, I documented everything that occurred in the course of the past four years. I have all supporting documents if anyone needs to contact me. The NPCP doesn't deserve any stars. They are a ZERO rating - poor & dishonest.

In order for the National Post Conviction Project to respond to your concerns, we would need to know who the client is, the contact information for the person placing the review and the nature of the specific issue. NPCP is staffed by attorneys and all work is done by attorneys and/or under the supervision of attorneys. If you wish to specify the details of your grievance you may do so directly to NPCP or through the BBB so that we may respond.
