      Me and my friend ******************************* required a locksmith to unlock his 2006 dodge charger and contacted locksmith connect. Their website advertises a $15 tech fee and an average price of $50-$150. With this information, on May 8th, 2023 I called the number on locksmith connects website. The person who answered said a tech would contact me shortly. The tech calls and tells us he will arrive in ***** minutes. He arrives in about 20 and quotes us a price of $185. We agree to pay and he begins working on tanners car. After already starting to work, he changes the quote to $224. I asked him if that's all. He says, and I quote, "total. In total". He unlocks the car in about a minute and a half using tools he had on hand and asks ** how we plan to pay.We (me and ******) said *****. And he told us cash would be better. We didn't have $224 in cash so we said we couldn't. Then, he tells us it's actually going to be $250 because we aren't using cash. I can not find anywhere on the website that said cash pay or penalty. Because services were rendered, I assumed we legally had to pay despite the quote changing and payed the cost. I called the number on the website and asked for an itemized list of some sort explaining the high cost. The employee said she would call me right back with an answer. 3 hours pass and I call them back. The employee says the price is like that because of the car and she can't help me. I ask, once again, for a list explaining the cost. She says she will email it to me. I am still waiting on the email to arrive. I am also waiting on my receipt
