    I called the business using the phone number on their website **************** to request a quote for 35 fresh squabs with overnight shipping. I spoke with an employee with an indian accent who told me to call back in 10 minutes and he will tell me what the cost will be. I clearly said, I am not committing to the sale unless the price is within budget. I called back as requested and I was shocked to know that the price will be 1000 USD and the employee asked me to Zelle him the amount. I asked how come on the website the price for 36 squabs is ****** USD, the answer was that the cheaper price is for frozen squabs not fresh. I thanked him for his time and I said that 1000 USD is above the budget in mind for this purchase. Not to mention my concern about asking for *************** transfer instead of credit card payment. After hanging up, I explored the website further and I decided to buy 24 fresh squabs for a total of ****** USD. I called again to confirm they received the order and the same person with a thick Indian accent picked up. He immediately said I dont have 24 squabs and this order will need to be canceled. He was also very angry and loud and when I asked him to stop screaming he said that he talks like this because he is on loud speaker. He also said Im never angy, I always smile and in the past I had to go to jail followed by anger management so now Im not angry. This made me even more uncomfortable. I asked how he was ready to ship 35 fresh squabs earlier and now he does not have 24. He said it takes money to pack and get a shipping label and he is not willing to unbox the squabs to repack 24 as ordered. I reminded him that I was very clear about not committing to the sale until I know the total price and that my budget is closer to 500 than 1000. He said if you want 35 squabs for 500 USD you should GO BACK TO ***** OR ********. I was extremely offended by this statement and when I told him this is not acceptable he started cussing using the * word.

    Gentleman is my old customer. But he is an idiot. ***** Business is a small industry, everyone knows everyone. First, he tried to place the order from my friend. He was quoted $450 for shipping. He cancelled the order there after it was packed. After that he asked me to give a quote with shipping for 35 Squabs. My shipping cost was $ 250. I offered him delivered price of $1000. I further lowered to $950. Now, he went ahead and placed order on my website. I voided the order. Credit card was NOT charged. The only place to buy cheaper Squabs right now is ***** and ********. I am from *****. I don't know where he is from? On top of that, he said, I am tape recording our conversation. If he was tape recording without my permission, interstate is a Federal Violation. I don't think BBB supports Federal violations. The customer should keep listening to the tape-recorded conversation again and again. I clarified clearly, I have not charged your credit card, I voided the authorization. I would love to ship his 35 Squabs already packed and I can deliver him tomorrow, if he places the order within 15 minutes. I can get it dropped at *** before 5. I will give him further discount of $ 50. From $ 1000 to $ 900. But in future he should always try to find cheaper out of the ***. Thank You BBB. I love your efforts to wipe the tears of crying babies.
