    If I could give a minus zero stars I would. Deceptive Trade Practice Act violations. Bait & switch sales, the skincare products they use & include in membership aren’t 100% Natural or Vegan, they aren’t worth the $1200. They won’t work with you if you can’t afford the membership & even after you make more than one attempt to cancel it, they will still try charging your debit card everyday more than once a day & will try & charge payment method not authorized by you for payment or autopay. When you call them they tell you they’ll call you next day and don’t & when you email them they won’t reply. I prepaid $995 with my Affirm account and am making payments every month, but cannot get any treatments with what paid for with affirm account because my membership is on hold because I can’t afford the $318 & the $100 I pay for the $995 Affirm loan. They won’t take skincare back even though it’s NEVER been opened. And they quoted me $3229 for membership but charging me $600 more than quoted price. I was told I need 24 treatments when the Venus machine website says it only takes 6-7 treatments done weekly. And the machine I can buy for $1500. Wouldn’t recommend this spa to my worst enemy.

    Every time I go to for my treatment front desk doesn’t even acknowledge customer and then when you check yourself in they don’t check you in right away and they always takes forever to call you at least 30 minutes. Dr jay is amazing but the people who handle his appointment suck. I’m a VIP member and always pay. Now I have treatment for tomorrow and they cancel my appointment without letting me know in advance. People work and once they text you and you don’t text back they cancel ur appointment

    Do not join this ***************. I opted not to renew my membership and they proceeded to charge me $400 2 weeks later and chocked it to a computer error. They lack good customer service and youre better off going somewhere that cares.

    As other reviewers stated, this is a scam. I went in for a body treatment and was passed from one sales person to another with high pressure tactics. I was doing treatments and got a job offer in another state so I looked to cancel. They want to charge me more than the price of the remaining treatments for some cheap product that was given and never used. I tried refusing at point of sale but wasnt able to. I tried returning the unused product and was also refused. All and all I am talking to a lawyer to see if they broke any laws with their high pressure tactics.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

    Thank you for allowing us to respond to Kevin's concerns. Novuskin Medspa is a membership-based business.

    We offer several types of memberships to choose from. Depending on the type of membership that is purchased, certain products are provided at the time of enrollment. The products provided are perishable if not appropriately stored. The products may be returned in the first seven days after purchase if they have not been opened. If a newly enrolled member does not wish to receive the products at enrollment the products may be substituted for additional services instead.

    All membership enrollments require signature from the member at enrollment time on their respective membership agreement.

    Kevin became a gold member on 06/14/22, at his enrollment Kevin received various skin care products. Over sixty days since receiving the products, on 08/15/22 Kevin called our office and requested to cancel his membership. During this call Kevin was told what the required terms are to complete his cancellation request which included him paying for the products that he received.

    Mr. ****** did not like the cancellation terms as the terms required him to pay for the products that he received. It should be noted that Kevin has attended two treatments past his 08/15/22 phone call.

    One of our Directors became aware of Kevin's complaint after receiving notification from the BBB.

    The Director contacted Kevin and had several conversations with him. During one conversation Kevin admitted that he may have said negative things about the company and didn't really feel the way he stated in his complaint because he was angry. In addition, Kevin admitted that he never attempted to escalate his concerns to a member of management, which are clear opportunities to deescalate before issues really arise.

    Once management became involved, Kevin was asked to simply produce an offer letter of his out of state employment opportunity. After Kevin was kind enough to submit his offer letter for review and to show cause on allowing us to cancel his membership with no additional fees being due. Keven's membership was canceled with all additional fees being waived;providing that he returned all unused products in their unopened state, which he did.

    This issue was resolved to both Kevin's and Novuskin's likening and is closed.
