    On 7/15/2024 Mantro Mobile Imaging came to my house (without an appointment) to take an X-ray of my daughter for an upcoming rehabilitation stay. It was 8:30pm when they arrived and I told the technician that my daughter (wheelchair bound not mobile) was already in her bed. He said it was fine to do the X-ray in the bedroom and proceeded to set up the machine next to her. As soon as he pushed the button to take the X-ray, the entire bedroom went dark. I asked him if he knew anything about breakers as I now thought be blew the breaker. He said no. I want to the breaker box and found this rooms breaker completely flimsy and unable to be reset. My son then came from his bedroom and said everted went dark in his room too. His rooms breaker is right next to the other dark rooms breaker in the box and it was flimsy and wouldnt reset either. I voluntarily ran a heavy duty extension cord from the main part of the house so the Manteo employee could take 2 X-rays. He then quickly packed up and attempted to leave my house quickly. I asked him if he was going to call a supervisor or someone that could restore the damage he just caused to 2 of my breakers. He could see that all of daughters life sustaining equipment (feeding pump, oxygen machine, etc) was in the room he just damaged. He offered no recourse and left me in the dark with my medically fragile daughter. I had to move an auxiliary power source in to that room for that night (I have pictures but want to protect my daughters privacy) until the next morning when I was able to get an electrician to my house to do the repair. He had to replace the 2 destroyed breakers (picture provided). The humidifier in her room was surged and blown out too. The electrician advised that an X-ray machine should never be used in a bedroom as it cannot take the load.

    I needed an xray prior to surgery and my doctor referred Mantro Mobile Imaging. They came right away and billed me right after. I was waiting to see if my insurance would cover it but Mantro kept calling for me to pay so I paid the full amount billed $247.77 thinking I would get reimbursed. My insurance soon after sent me the claim where they had negotiated the bill down to $143.27. I am owed a refund of $104.50. I called on 10.12.23 and left a detailed message with their answering service but did not receive a return call. I called again on 11.17.23 and left another message with the service who said they still had a record of the first call. I did not receive a call back. On 04.06.24 I went to Mantro's place of business. The office was open but no one was to be found so I called while there saying I was there and left a 3rd message. ******** from billing called back on 04.09.24 and agreed I was owed a refund of $104.50. She said it would take 4-6 weeks. I still have not received this refund and it is now 06.13.24.
