    On 3/26/2025 I went to Carter Power Sports to look at some motorcycles and I saw one that I took interest in, and it was the only one in stock of that specific model. It is the 2025 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT SE. I asked salesperson ****** Bear if I could put the motorcycle on hold, and he recommended that I put down $500 which is refundable if I change my mind. I used my **** credit card to put the money down, so I was charged the $500. I was advised that if I changed my mind, I would be sent a link to request the refund.On 3/31/2025 I changed my mind and sent salesperson ****** Bear an email to request the link for my refund. He replied that he would send me the link. Later in the same day I sent a follow-up email because I still had not received the link. I did not receive a response.On 4/1/2025 I received the following email:From: ******** Bear <**************************************************************>Sent: Tuesday, April 1, 2025 9:36 AM To: **** ********* <***************************>Subject: Re: Fw: Rebel 1100 Accessories Morning **** apologies for the delay. If you remember the day we took your deposit, we were having system problems in store. Because of this we may have to issue you a check. We will get this resolved today Later on this day I sent another follow-up email to ask about the resolution that was mentioned. I did not receive a response.On 4/2/2025, I sent another follow-up email to ask about the resolution. Up to todays date 4/8/2025 I have not received any additional communication from Carter Power Sports, nor have I received a check in the mail.Desired resolution: I want my refund, and a check sent in the mail as soon as possible (overnight mail) is the preferred method. Likely the fastest way to get the funds. I am a retired ********* veteran living on fixed income and the $500 is a significant portion of it. Lastly, I was told the store is family owned, so Im asking that the owners be notified regarding the level of customer service that was rendered.

    This shop took months to troubleshoot my machine and had to bring it back twice. The told me an *** was a good fix and they ordered the part and charged me then it ended up not fixing it. Then kept trouble shooting and told me the route on the potential fix was up to me.. They were willing to shotgun a top end rebuild or a full wire harness for the whole vehicle (which wouldve been thousands). I took the vehicle back and troubleshot in 4 hours and found out it was the fuel injectors ($300). They also tried to keep the *** I paid for and re-installed the old one. Never said anything about it and still charged me for it. Thankfully I looked while I was troubleshooting and noticed the old one was still in it. These guys are shady and try to steal peoples money with no actual results. I paid $771.71 for me to get it back and still fix it on my own.
