    I Hope you are reading this before you engage to do business with United Moving and Storage located in Las Vegas Nevada, located on Quail Avenue. My wife and I experienced a costly mistake by contracting with them to move us from California to New Mexico. They were liars and scam artists. You start with one representative who seems nice and helpful. Then when you get closer to the move date things begin to change. When I called back to confirm our move the person, I spoke with was no longer available. You get another representative that says he’s the boss and explained the quote I signed with a one third deposit was incorrect and they needed to update it at a higher price. Do not fall for their scam. We lost our deposit claiming we didn't cancel in the allotted time. They are nothing more than brokers that sell you on the phone. They are nothing more than predators preying on vulnerable people, stressed out in the move. Please read reviews and make sure there are many and updated. This scam company may have several addresses in Vegas so be careful. Most people go through this and never follow up because they are so busy with their move, and write it off as a bad experience. Don’t be that person.

    This was the 1st time I've ever used a moving company for a move over 100 miles. I contracted with United ****** and Storage. They Subcontracted with **** ****** ****** LLC Las Vegas Nevada. **** ****** ****** arrived to my home in Palm Desert CA. It was going well until the mover broke a wall sconce when moving part of my couch. After myself & my mother who was also there advised that the couch came apart into 4 pieces. They guy said to contact the office they would take care of it.They didn't and I'm out $150.00. The office gal Ivette ***** is less than helpful. She was rude and condescending during a very stressful time.  Fast forward to September 2024 Delivery of my items. They showed up in a United ****** Semi truck. When they opened the back of the truck. I was SHOCKED to see my GrandMothers Antique Bookcase positioned/packed over 6ft high in the truck. The mover had to use a ladder to access it. The bookcase nearly fell out of the truck onto the cement. The mover caught it, cracked the stained glass panel. After that, my husband & I watched 1 of the guys pull a few of our boxes from the under portion of the truck.AND SLIDE THEM ACROSS THE ASPHALT!! I was in shock.Once unpacked I contacted **** ****** ****** in order to file a claim for the damages of my items. (55 " Samsung TV - totaled/unuseable, Samsung Sound Bar - Totaled/Unusable, the bookcase mentioned before, Sand Ceremony- Irreplaceable, Damaged dresser & drawers) I trusted United Moving/**** ****** ****** LLC for my move, the fact that I was having to file a claim for Damages was/is very upsetting. Once again spoke with Ivette *****, she promised to send me the information to file a claim. I had to call back 3 days later to get the info sent to me... Now I have filed the claim with CSI Pros. I'm insulted with the amount that they are paying me. In the future, I would not trust United ****** or **** Choice ****** LLC to move Bubble Wrap Filled Boxes.As those would likely be damaged as well.

    I looked at a lot of reviews about this company, some good some bad. Though there was something about the salesperson, his name was Christian that made me feel comfortable, He also explained to me that it's hard to please everyone all the time. He didn't hide from the bad reviews.
    He let me know that United Moving and Storage is doing around 400 moves per month on average. I'm an accountant, a number guy and when I thought about that ratio of bad reviews to the number of moves performed, well then it is actually an incredible mark. He was very informative and always answered my calls. By the way I moved from Dallas, Tx. to Las Vegas, Nv.
    I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5, because no one is perfect. I was originally quoted $4235.60. and the final bill cost me $4535.60. The difference was 2 safes that weighed 400 lbs. each. Christian had forgotten to tell me about bulk handling fees for items that weigh over 300 lbs. The fee is $150 per item. It checked out. I was very happy overall. My belongings were delivered in 8 days. Oh yeah almost forgot, one lamp was cracked on the side. I would recommend this company. I think they did a very good job!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR ROYAL MOVING & STORAGE!!!! I called, got a great quote for my move from Las Vegas to Oklahoma City. I explained that I was moving into my apartment in OKC on April 1st & Allen, the Rep I dealt with explained to me that in order for them to deliver my things then, they would have to pick my things up no later then March 27th. Ok, so I paid the deposit. On 3/27 my things were picked up. Only after I would lose the deposit, did he tell me that they would try to get my things to me as close to the 1st of April as possible. TODAY IS APRIL 11TH & I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY THINGS!!! They were supposed to be here between 8am-10am today. I called my new boss yesterday after Nikki, with Royal Moving called & told me they would be here today. I asked my manager if I could come in after the delivery. She was gracious to allow that, even though I just started this job on Monday April 8th. She was not happy that I had to call her back today to tell her that they still hadn't come yet & wouldn't be here till 1pm! I talked to Lauren last week & she relayed to me that they had up to 30 days to deliver per the contract I signed when they picked up my stuff. I explained to her that they need to make people aware of ALL that before a deposit is put down & could lose the deposit if we cancel!! If I had known that, I would have NEVER BOOKED WITH THIS COMPANY!!! The amount of stress that this has caused is tremendous. To be without my personal belongings, having to go buy business casual clothes for work & now having to miss work today after just starting this job on Monday!! They are messing with my lively hood & causing me to spend money that I had not planned on spending. There has been no talk of discounting my fees or anything. The way they do "business" is completely UNACCEPTABLE. I am praying that all my things are delivered safely and exactly how they picked them up. If you value your time, money & mental health. Such a Horrible business.

    I would give this company a zero if I could. Beware! They seem helpful, friendly, and professional at the beginning. Beware! They will under-quote you knowing that they have no matter what proof you provide them of what your shipment contains. I say this because I gave them a detailed list plus pictures of my items to be shipped. and entered into the contract. Upon pickup, they said I would owe more money and needed it upfront. I called dispatch and they said sorry but you have more stuff than what was quoted???? So they charged me $3000 more dollars ontop of what was quoted. They said you can cancel but you must pay our drivers for their time ontop you can not get your deposit back. So I was in a bind. They are a ripoff of unprofessional illegal people. They lie they have poor communication skills unprofessional Justin ***** was the main person of contact. He is so rude and screams at customers and treats you badly he doesn't even care about how he treats customers he is a money-greedy person. BEWARE!!!! I can keep on and keep on but ......

    The customer received a quote based on the inventory list which should have included all the items they needed moving services for. The customers lack of communication on what exactly should have been placed on the inventory list caused the original price to increase. If the customer would have communicated exactly what items should have been placed on the inventory list, we as a company could have presented a more accurate quote this in return could have stopped a lot of the confusion on the customer/company's side. However, the customers items were picked up and dropped off within 5 days the customer was satisfied with our services.

    Why am I not surprised that this company receives low reviews across the board all over the internet? They have showed a pattern of overall disrespect to their customers and have no interest in fulfilling their contractual obligations.

    I got contacted by United Movers and Storage when I ******* movers. They were nice and courteous on the phone and gave me a fantastic quote, too good to be true. They asked me for a $2000 deposit by Zelle. I sent it off without any hesitation. The next day I was advised from my relator that the buyer of my home had changed their mind and the deal to purchase my home was off. I contacted Untied Movers and Storage, talked to a John D and he said he would sent my request off to customer service. Since then I did some checking and went on the DOT website, where United Movers are not authorized to move furniture. I have tried to contact all the numbers I have and my phone number has been blocked, I sent a certified letter to the address on file and have not heard anything. the $2000 means a lot to me as I am a senior citizen on social security only and now have no money to buy groceries or to pay my bills.
    I just want my deposit back of $2000, I would appreciate any help.

    We were warned by various moving companies to not use this company because they would not be able to find a delivery driver to pick up our items when we need them to do so. I raised the issue with the rep I worked with, and she said they use Royal Moving and Storage LLC as their transporters so we would not run into this issue. The exact issue happened. We had a pickup window of the 15th and 16th of March. They called on the 15th at 5PM telling us their truck has broken down and they are trying to find a way to fix it and our pick up date would now be 6 days past the original pick up date. If this is the case, DOT needs to look into this because I do not know how a business does not have contingency plans. They offered to give us our deposit back but it was already too late because the new pick up date will be for when our lease was over and when we would be flying to our new address.
    In addition, the sales rep pretended to be nice when it was time to get our money. However, she felt the need to use cuss words with me and block me when I was trying to communicate with her that we really needed help with just finding a truck that can move our items. This company is known for overpromising and not delivering at all. This could have all been avoided if we were just told the truth and told earlier so that we could make other plans. However, we were just told lies with no solutions. The first lie was that the truck broke down, which means they have no contingency plans at all. The second lie was that one of the trucks had been over filled and needed to be emptied at the corporate office before coming to get us. Now we are left stranded trying to figure out what to do before our lease is over, and before we get back on our flight to Arizona.

    Management has spoken to this customer and fully refunded their deposit so that they could make other arrangements. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we've caused, as this is not our intention. We strive to accommodate all of our customer's requests, however in this situation we did fail to meet expectations. We contacted this customer as early as was possible to let them know that the truck that got dispatched for their pickup got full with the previous customer's items. These were items that were not on their inventory, items that we were not aware of. It was explained to the customer that another truck would have to be dispatched out to this customer and would take a few days to get to this customer's pickup location. We attempted to find another carrier who was available to pick up this customer's items, however the carriers we work with were already fully committed. I am unsure who this customer spoke to that told them that the truck was having mechanical issues, because that was not the case. Every time an employee has interaction with a customer our system prompts that individual to input notes on the call. Nowhere is it notated that anyone spoke to them regarding a delay of this nature. We have also apologized if the sales rep acted in a way that was unprofessional. The customer was provided with the office number to address her situation because this was not a situation that the sales rep could resolve themself. The reason the customer was blocked because she was repeatedly calling and texting the sales rep's personal cell phone.

    A disaster in every way. Price doubled after truck was loaded, so we really had no recourse. No moving blankets were used (contract said they would be)--just brown paper and plastic wrap. allowing almost every item of furniture to have damage. When truck showed up to destination, driver used his son and grandson to unload. It appeared they had little experience based on their inability to easily get things into the house. Nothing was assembled for us (contract said it would be). Later that night, ****** informed us he had additional items of our still on truck, so we had to leave a dinner to be home for its arrival. Items were lost. We would have been better off selling our belongings and buying new once we arrived. I would give no stars if possible.

    We truly apologize that your household goods were not returned to you in the manner of your expectations. We have notified the dispatch department that this customer is in need of the claims information, so that she can file a claim for any items that are missing and/or damaged. At the time of pickup this customer had additional items and multiple items that were bigger than expected that required more space on the truck. We apologize that the crew did not have any moving blankets available to use during pickup and that the items were not assembled at the time of delivery. This has been brought to management for further investigation, so that this does not happen again in the future. We want to make sure that everyone who puts hands on a customer's items do their absolute best to handle all items with care and respect as if they were their very own and that all trucks are supplied with necessary materials.

    This business deservers no stars at all. They are very misleading, and they are unreliable to their customers. They are scam artist. They were hard to get a hold of when the relocation and moving company they contracted to take my household goods was late, and the truck that they brought was fully loaded and they didn't come out and do a physical quote. United Moving and Storage did one on the phone and they went by cubic feet, and no one was there to see what was all included in the move. On June 11,2022 the day of the move there was no one I could get a hold of at United Moving and Storage to see where the truck was at. they had us pay them through Venmo and was not and to receive a refund. The Moving and relocation company they did use was off the quote by over 125%. our Quote threw united moving and storage was$ 6482.54. The company they subcontracted out charged us $15,000 on top of what united moving and storage was charging I would never recommend anyone use this misleading and lying company. They state they were a moving company and storage, but they are just a broker. That is very misleading and fraudulent.

    During booking it was explained to this customer that we are located in Las Vegas, NV so we can't come out to his pickup location in Los Banos CA for an in-home estimate but we can do a video call which he chose not to do. We built a quote based on the items that this customer provided to us in which we estimate an amount of space they will take up on the truck in cubic feet. This customer provided us with less than half of the items that he was including. Based on the info he provided we had 947cf of space reserved on the truck, but at the time of pickup he added more than double the items we were aware of. These additional items took up more space on the truck, 1,518cf. and increased his price greatly. It was explained to the customer that he will be paying for the amount of space that his items take up on the truck and customer agreed and signed for additional charges at the time of pickup. We have been in communication with this customer regarding his grievances.

    First when I went back to the recorded phone call, Jeremy had stated that there was no need to do a video call at the time he said just keep him updated on what we have since we were still packing. In the notes I have here from A-1 transportation all the big items were on your inventory no more or no less. His inventory sheet it matches what I have told you except the extra boxes I have that I told them I would obviously pay extra for. So your statement that I provided you less than half of what I reported is a lie and you know it. See I'm in the trucking business and I deal with brokers and when they offer me a job I have to take it or not depending on if I like the amount that I would get paid for doing this job I don't just get to make up my own price after I take the job. That is against the law per law enforcement, & FMCSA. And we were not showen the quote till after A-1 was done loading and storing our property. That as well is against the law per an attorney.

    The quote is an estimate based on the items that you provide to us. Our moving software gives us the standard size of the item and calculates the cubic feet it will take up on the truck. We will not know exactly how many cubic feet an item will utilize until we physically see the items and load them in the truck. Items could be bigger or smaller than the standard size or unstackable. It's stated on our contract that only the items that you have provided are included in the price and any additional items or services would result in additional charge. This customer had multiple additional items as well as 59 additional boxes at the time of pickup that were not on his inventory. These additional items took up a considerable amount of extra space on the truck. This customer paid for the amount of space all of his items took up on the truck, he agreed to the overages in cubic feet at the time of pickup before the loading of the truck and signed his Bill of Lading.
