On April 3, 2025, I discovered a generator listed for $399.99 through a ****** Shopping ad showing AutoZone as the seller. When clicked, the ad redirected to a promotional flyer hosted on AutoZones official website, where the exact same generator was listed for $1,299.99. This created a clear pricing discrepancy under AutoZones brand and domain.I followed the proper channels to resolve the issue, providing screenshots and timeline documentation. Despite multiple calls, emails, and AutoZones own internal escalations, the company ultimately stated that it would not honor the price, claiming the listing originated from ****** and was not recognized by AutoZone even though the link directed to their own promotional material.Timeline of Contact:April 3 9:10 PM: I called AutoZone after seeing the $399.99 listing. The representative said it would be escalated to the fraud department, with a promised response within 2448 hours.April 4 10:37 AM: I called again after noticing the listing had disappeared. I spoke with ****** *********, who provided the case number via email at 10:53 AM.April 6 9:46 AM: I spoke with ******** ******, who asked me to resend screenshots and said she would personally escalate the issue. She followed up with an email at 10:05 AM confirming this.April 7 3:12 PM: I spoke with another representative (name unknown).At 4:46 PM, I spoke with ***** Escuero, who said the case notes indicated AutoZone would not honor the price and did not recognize the listing as valid. He also said he could not provide call notes from our conversation.April 7 End of business day: ******** ****** had committed to a follow-up by this time. Despite their claim that I was contacted, AutoZone has not reached out to me in any form since April 23, 2025. No additional phone call, letter, or email has been sent in response to my formal complaint. The response they providedCustomer has been contactedis misleading and does not resolve the issue outlined in my original filing.
My original complaint detailed a significant pricing discrepancy on a generator advertised on their website. I provided screenshots, a full timeline, and communication records to support my request that AutoZone honor the price or offer a comparable substitute. That request has not been addressed, acknowledged, or resolved in any meaningful way.
I respectfully ask that the BBB keep this case open and note that the matter remains unresolved. I am still seeking a fair resolution consistent with my original complaint.

3/10/2025 I went into autozone to initiate a refund on a two rotors and break pads for a 2000 ****** Camry cause they havent been used at all till that point once arrived I received help I told them Id like to get a refund we got that settled and I left a week later on 3/17/2025 I came back to check on the refund only to find out that they set up a customer swap for the ********************** now the problem with this is I wanted a refund and I wasnt given any thing when I went in originally for the refund so they told me under these circumstances I cant get my refund because I have no parts to return I told them that I was here for a refund on 3/10/25 showed them receipt and they wouldnt help me furtherBusiness Response

On 7-5-2023 I bought a fan from the store on ************ Ave in ********* **. The part did not have the hardware. I returned to the store for a refund. They didn't want to but then changed their mind and refunded my card, but did not refund the cash portion. I realized this error as I pulled into my home and immediately called the store. The manager said that the employee pocketed the $15.00. I had to pause for a moment. I asked again "Did your employee put my refund in his pocket?" he replied in the affirmative. I drove back. I asked for my money back. He said that he would not be able to refund the $15.00 as the employee left. So basically I got robbed. I am filing a complaint with LVPD. On May 3rd thru May 10th 2023 AutoZone show and has practiced and has displayed and should be responsible for their neglect irresponsibility lack of knowledge in good business practice they're flat out wrong, and multi-part was purchased from AutoZone the part was installed and it was defective by that happening that shifted my entire household it caused me to use my aaa's for a complete year that I just paid for days before because Uber rides to and from it cause lost wages and it caused extra payment to a completely different shop to repair it all receipts are in black and white and have been submitted to AutoZone which are ***** Fargo doordash and debit cards as well as Uber receipts AAA receipts and bank statements I have lost over $750 and rightfully AutoZone owes me $450.99 and I have provided them with all receipts and black and white and they refuse to pay and this is my last attempt through the BBB to rectify the situation with them before I file a claim in small claims court against AutoZone for their negligence AutoZone owes a total of $700 and receipts all can be proven due to their negligence in their employee knowledge and their products and I would like my cash money that I rendered out of my pocket and my losses due to AutoZone neglect improper information and ownership in this situation I will not stop until I get what's rightfully mine that was taken from my family out of our pockets in our household that has shifted everything in a downward spiral because of this situation with AutoZoneBusiness Response

On July 30, 2018 I purchased a car battery at Auto-zone store #3739 I was offered a five year warranty on it for an extra charge and agreed to buy it. I paid $176.97. I was assured by the salesman that if within 5 years my battery goes bad, it **** be replaced for free. On July 24, 2022 (less than four years) the battery needed replacement. I stopped by at Auto-Zone store #2242 on W. Flamingo Rd. The salesman Alejandro said they couldn't replace it for free, because the five year warranty had been terminated by the head office. The next day my husband, ****** called District Manager Cristina B********* at XXX XXX-XXXX. She promised to check the record and call him back. She hasn't returned his call. After that he called her twice and left messages. Cristina haven't called back. He also called District Manager ****** at XXX-XXX-XXXX who promised to call back and never did. To my understanding this five year warranty could not be terminated and should have been grandfathered until the last customer who had paid for 5-year warranty. On July 24, 2022 I was charged $157.50 for a new battery. Full record for both transactions and warranty is in Auto-zone cash register computers.Business Response

His phone calls were ignored. The Authozone is refusing to face the fact that they have breached a unilateral contract. They have avoided getting in touch with us. The matter has not been resolved.
