My contractor, ****************/*********************, hired Cloud Carpet One to install carpet in four rooms in a residential in ************.Cloud Carpet One assured my contractor and I that they could easilly perform the job and agreed to $4862, we had purchased the carpet and performed the freight on our own dime at over $30,000.We had booked and paid $4000 in advance a week ahead back in September of 2022 to have things installed on October 25, 2022.My contractor also provided labor to prep the floors and have everything ready for them at my expense. We also provided Cloud Carpet One with all the installation instructions, roll and layout diagrams as well as other step by step instructions. On the day they were suppose to install, a person by the name of ****** who appeared to be the lead drove around the community, I flagged him down and he said that he was given the wrong address and no information was given to him and we had no one to rehearse and teach him the plans.I had to leave work and drop everything to assist the installers from Cloud Carpet One consisting of the lead/****** and one assistant. I asked ****** to see if he can contact his company to get the information, and he did call and speak with someone, during that time he mentioned he could not do that in one day and around the time I got an allergic reaction to some chemicals that the installers had wore on their clothes.I stepped out to get some freshair and my contgractor (who just arrived) informed me that Cloud Carpet ********** just ran out claiming I was "racist" or a "white supremist" (I'm a female Native/Asian mix and absolutely never made any remark of the sort) and they abandoned the job.Their company sent my contractor and I a bill for additional fees and wanted more money.I ended up paying an additional $12,500 to get another team to install the carpet and we're still out a lot of money.

    Good morning,

The work performed at ****************** was a business to business transaction with ****************.  The work was performed satisfactorily and payment was received, fully executing the project as per contract.  I might suggest that ********** contact the company she is contracted with for remedy.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

    Respectfully,

I am rejecting this response because:

The work was NOT completed satisfactory.  ******************, and myself have contacted the business for remedy due to job abandonment and INCOMPLETE work and the business has NOT completed the work and NOT refunded anyone any money.

Further, the business has made other false libel accusations which have not been addressed, this libel has caused myself a loss of over ****** which includes the deposit paid up front to Cloud Carpet One / Henderson Floorings $4000 and additional amounts over $6000 paid to DOSH to cover their costs incurred due to the libel.

    Sincerely,

    *********************

    Complaint: 18477235

I am rejecting this response because:

    The claims, allegations, and excuses:

In mid-October 2022, Dosh contracted Cloud Carpeting to install carpet
(not repair) at a residence in *****, ******. The carpet was provided by
    *******,
our client the owner of the residence. The day of installation two of Cloud
Carpets guys showed up to the residence to install the carpet and within a
short while they approached ****, the owner of Dosh and told him there
was an issue and they were leaving. They further told **** that *******
was being racist, degrading them, and they were also in fear for their safety
(e.g., ******* was walking around with a gas mask on and an Uzi gun).
After **** spoke with ******* and Cloud Carpet and rectified the situation,
it was agreed upon a new crew would do the installation and a new install
date was set. The agreement also included ******* not to be present
when the new crew did the installation. The day of the installation Cloud
Carpet guys showed up to complete the work. At the end of the day, they
were told by ****,the other owner of the property that everything looked
great. Dosh also inspected the work and we were very happy with the
install. There were no complaints from anyone when Cloud Carpet left.
Cloud Carpet was paid in full on October 31, 2022, with no complaints
being mentioned from the owners of the property.

Allegedly made by a letter signed by **********************

    Do confirm the following facts:

    1. Carpet Cloud did make libel claims that They further told **** that *******
was being racist, degrading them, and they were also in fear for their safety
(e.g., ******* was walking around with a gas mask on and an Uzi gun).

There was, in fact,NO ******* walking around with a gas mask on and an Uzi gun.In fact, no such items existed. Further, the crew from Carpet Cloud approached the homeowner (*******) and asked for directions and instructions on what to do that morning, claiming that DOSH and Carpet Cloud had NOT given them instructions on what to do that day.

Statement from ******* clearly states I opened the door and a lead crew apparently from Carpet Cloud who identified himself as ************** that he had no idea what he was doing and asked for instructions which had already been provided to Carpet Cloud. I did hold a spatua from making fried eggs for breakfast when I was interrupted and asked to give ******* all the instructions over again which I had provided to them weeks earlier further from *******, I did have a OSHA approved respirator in my possession (not an UZI gun) as the job side is under renovations and we were working with resin and other hazardous materials that day.

The racistclaims were never detailed nor any evidence backed up other than themselves being libel/slander against ***************

    2. ********************* allegedly provides proof that Carpet Cloud did agree to further expenses to accommodate their installation in the statement After **** spoke with ******* and Cloud Carpet and rectified the situation,
it was agreed upon a new crew would do the installation and a new install
date was set. The agreement also included ******* not to be present
when the new crew did the installation.

These expenses to accommodate Carpet Cloud as described above run an additional $8000+which Carpet Cloud did NOT reimburse and still have not paid.

As evident in the initial review and complaint, there are, in fact, still complaints with the job abandonment and libel/slander made by Carpet Cloud.

There are additional fees that Carpet Cloud agreed to cover which they have NOT reimbursed/credited and expenses allegedly incurred as a direct result of libel/slander which opens to additional legal liability.

Further, the carpet was NOT installed to satisfaction as there were seams and misalignment evident in the initial complaint which Carpet Cloud has refused to rectify.

    Sincerely,

    *********************
