This place has a C- from the BBB I wonder why I'll tell you why they have one Doctor Steven K Nishiyama Who thinks himself a God last time I checked there was only one God and he doesn't look Japanese. Not the God I serve this Doctor set me up for total knee replacement .But wouldn't listen to my concerns before the procedure I told him several times that I had Hypersensitivity to metals mainly Titanium yet the Doctor blew me off several times in fact on the initial visit he sat in front of me chanting no rejection no rejection I thought that quite strange just because you put that in the universe doesn't mean that it will work for me I asked him to give me a simple test called the Melisa test which would rule out me having an issue with the knee which is constructed from Titanium he basically refused if you're a good Doctor wouldn't you do you're due diligence to make sure you're patient has a successful outcome .Well let me tell you this is not my happy ending Dr Nishiyama came into the office on April 6 2023 and informed me that he wouldn't be doing my surgery because I conveyed my concerns to his MA during our pre opt visit I told her about my Hypersensitivity to metals when she asked me I also told her that I had addressed these concerns to Dr Nishiyama and he blew me off .She told him about our conversation he came into the room shortly after her screamed at me and said that he wouldn't be doing my Surgery and that no Doctor in that practice would touch me and I could leave and I didn't have to check out just leave I was floored now I'm scrambling to find a good Doctor to do my knee replacement . Be careful using Desert Orthopedic for you're medical needs there's some good Doctors but Steven K Nishiyama is not one of them he's a **** **** with a God complex not a good. Combination
