      I got stuck with a $734 bill, Stay Away!
      I take a sleeping pill to help me sleep. This office does a drug screen as per their policy for certain prescriptions.
      I was never informed of this policy. They ordered a $743 drug screen without my knowledge or consent.
      THEY ORDERED THE WRONG TEST. When I initially called the office manager and asked about it, she said that this is not possible because there is no such test and should only be a charge of $99 for a drug screen.
      Yes, there is this test because I got stuck with the bill! My insurance company has denied the claim several times! No insurance company would have approved this test!
      I have called Dr Wolfson’s office several times to get help with this bill and the office manager NEVER takes my call. She is ALWAYS in a meeting. She claimed to help me out by emailing the lab company. I reached out to the lab company and there are no notes of them contacting.
      I had absolutely no idea about this test and there was no way I could have known if they were using my insurance and network correctly.
      ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! DON’T PUT UP WITH THIS!

      My mother is a patient. She is 73 years old this week and needs surgery @ UCLA. She states she intends to change doctors as soon as this is complete but is afraid they " really screw her up" if she makes them upset. I called and left messages for the office manager last week and never got a call back. they did however upset my mother telling her that I was informed there was a $50 fee to release the info to get her surgery approved. I never spoke with them. When I advised the Box canyon office manager of this she insinuated I am liar, stating" The documentation says you spke to Ariana." I did not, therefore the documentation is false. In nursing school we were taught that is a pretty big deal, but apparently, to this practice, that s eason to hang up on a patients family. My mother is on social security , they charged her $25 for an appt they stated she should have received a ( free) call for, $75 for a LETTER ( we never got that, needed it yesterday) and another $500 to release her information to get this surgery done. And hung up on me. SHe is so upset I think the ER for BP may be in order - worst customer service I have experienced ever, as a healthcare professional. patient, parent or child of a patient, person, even wors than your lovely DMV office. TERRIBLE!
