I went to inventhelp to get help on securing a deal for my invention and they promised me that they would put my invention in front of the right companies to try to get a deal done to manufacture and distribute my invention. But instead they charged me thousands of dollars (******) to do absolutely nothing! They barely contacted any companies and when they did they did it thru the **** mail which is absolutely ridiculous! I asked them why they try to contact businesses this way instead of calling or email and they told me this has always been there policy. Literally the only beneficial thing I got out of this agreement was a book with potential projections and a virtual video of how my invention works which does not cost 16k to do! I reached out to them multiple times to see what was going on and they literally did nothing to help get a deal done. I eventually started reaching out to companies on my own and had a few opportunities but still with no help from inventhelp whatsoever. I even called them and gave them the information to the companies that were interested but after doing so the same companies suddenly told me that they were no longer interested which leads me to believe that inventhelp contacted them and completely deterred them from wanting to do business with me. At this point I believe that the sole purpose of inventhelp entering into an agreement with me was solely to steal my invention. At this point I have stopped paying them their monthly charge of $379 dollars because what am I even paying for? They have done nothing at all and every time I try to talk to them about it, Im met with an extreme attitude and disrespectful recourse that tells me they have no intention on doing what we initially agreed upon. I either want them to do what we agreed upon and secure a deal or refund my money and let me out of this ridiculous dead end, non beneficial contract.
