On May 9, 2024, I paid Mars Rising Network (MRN) /$8,500 in full for a 36 month invention development service. The business committed to design and engineer a functional prototype, assist with intellectual property filing, and develop promotional materials. I was led to believe this was a professional team based in ********** **, as advertised on their website and communications. However, after several months of minimal communication, unfulfilled promises, and repeated delays, MRN admitted they lacked the team to complete my project. The project coordinator stated to me that what they due is they outsource to freelancers and 3rd party company's for the work. When I conveyed my disappointment, shortly after, they ceased communication altogether. I discovered the business is not registered in ******* but in ********** and is operating under multiple names (e.g., Mars Rising Network, Mars Rising Innovations). Their listed Nevada address is not legitimate. The Nevada business address used to be his apartment; he now resides in ********* and uses his address there for business.I have made multiple documented attempts to contact *** and its owner, ******* Glen ******* including certified letters sent to both the ****** and ********* addresses. Mr. ****** signed for the delivery, but later responded under a different name with a note stating dont know what this is, despite the packet being clearly labeled with evidence and refund demands. The business has not attempted to resolve the issue. They engage in deceptive practices, including false advertising, misrepresentation of location and capabilities, and unjust enrichment by accepting full payment without delivering services. This has caused me significant financial harm and I have been met with nothing but intentional evasion and dishonesty throughout this process.I am requesting full reimbursement and that appropriate actions be taken by the BBB to hold Mars Rising Network and Mr. ****** accountable.
