    I have been receiving repeated unsolicited marketing emails from Honor Society, despite never completing a registration with them or consenting to ongoing communication. I have attempted to unsubscribe several times using the link provided in their emails, and I have directly contacted their support email ******************************************* requesting to be permanently removed from their mailing list. My most recent written request was sent on May 9, 2025, and ******** 12, 2025I received yet another unwanted email from them. These continued emails are in clear disregard of my requests and may constitute a violation of the CAN-SPAM Act, which requires businesses to honor opt-out requests within 10 business ******* money has been exchanged, and there is no formal transaction. However, the issue is a persistent violation of my privacy and the misuse of my email address for marketing purposes. Honor Societys emails falsely claim that I opted in via their website, which is not true. I never gave consent to be added to their mailing list. In my May 9th email, I cited *** guidance that outlines the legal requirement to provide and honor opt-out options. I also blind copied several government reporting addresses, including the *** and ****, in an effort to escalate the ******** date, the organization has not responded to my requests, and the emails have continued. I am requesting that Honor Society immediately and permanently remove my email address from their communication system, provide written confirmation of this action, and ensure that I receive no future emails from any of their departments or affiliates. I am submitting this complaint because my efforts to resolve this matter directly with the business have failed, and I am seeking assistance to ensure compliance and stop the unwanted communication.

    I want to report that ************************** took $65 from me in January 2025. I joined thinking they were connected to my school, but after reading BBB reviews and talking with a peer, I found out they arent affiliated at all. Their website and emails are misleading. I emailed them last night to try and resolve this, but after talking with others, I was told filing a BBB complaint was a better option. I want my money back and want to warn others not to fall for this scam.

    I was receiving non-stop emails from this business asking me to join. My first red flag was that the higher the membership you chose, you would have to keep renewing it every few months. I paid for the membership because I was interested in the scholarships, which I was told were exclusive. After doing my research and reading several reviews of other students, I would like a full refund of my $65. I will never recommend this organization to anybody.

    I am in grad school with a 3.8 gpa. I got this thinking it was legit. My first red flag went up when it was due the day I received the email. The second and most concerning red flag is they at the bottom of their website they show the bbb accreditation emblem. After going to the bbb, I read that they ARE NOT accredited by the bbb. Which makes me think this is a total scam. I want all of my data they obtained permanently removed from their system. And I do not wish for any of my data to be sold. I do not want to be contacted by them or any affiliated companies.

    The email comes from the honorsociety.org with the address listed on the BBB as not accredited. Not the one that is. The link when followed in the email gets taken first to a spam site. I have also included a screenshot of that.

    Upon reading my peer reviews, I realize was deceived to think this was part of the national honor society. I would like a refund for the $65 I spent to the card I have on file, that my name be removed with any and all likeness from any mail/email correspondence from now and in the future. I am also requesting that my account be deleted effective immediately.

    This is the worst business scam I've seen. I got an email from this company when I was preparing to graduate Lawschool. Found out that they in fact have no connection with my school and they are just an organization where you have to pay them money. I asked for a refund of the regalia and other materials. Their emails went to my spam and I was not able to dispute the charges timely as a result. They refused to give me a refund even though their materials are unused and unopened. I just found out almost a year later that they are still charging me. I just tried to cancel on the website and their system does not work and says my email does not exist even though I can still log in. I want them discredited and my money returned. What a terrible business and practice.

    Business managed to get ***** of my school email and invited me to apply to the honor society. Which I thought was official because it came through my school. However, the honor society is not recognized and likely fraudulent. Which I determined before paying them any money, thankfully. But I want my information/profile REMOVED. I do not want them to have my information. My school sent out an email calling them a phishing scam and informing the students that it is NOT affiliated with this organization.

    They are scammers using college students as bait for scholarship money. They do not stop emailing you even after you've unsubscribed. They will let you "use the service" for a couple days, then request you pay them money and are unrelentless with emails and fake claims .
