I am co owner with my husband of Las Vegas Premier Paintball. Great American Capital is our landlord. My husband ************************* has been the one dealing with GAC for the last 16 years here on the property, ************************. ****** and I are currently separated and he has abandoned the business as of around June 5th 2024 due to a plan to illegally have new tenants take over our space. According to GAC we are on a month to month lease since COVID, which i know not be true but cannot prove. Now that i am the only owner operating the business I have asked GAC for a copy of our lease , whether or not we really are behind on rent (we are according to my husband, but i have bank documents proving we have made every payment since 2016) if Im in good standing. *** asked fro email responses, Ive shown up in person, with rent payment in hand, and I cant get anyone to talk to me. They wont even reply via email knowing Im the one making the rent payment. They did respond with a reply of pay by end of day or pay the 10% penalty. . After some thought i told them id be willing to pay the penalty just too wait for a meeting like they asked me to do. Only to be met with no response and an eviction letter on (the equivalent of the back of the building) our side gate, that same day, that was brought to an employee by a customer the next day(Friday July 12). Today Saturday July 13, i was handed another eviction letter by one of the other tenants. This letter was handed to one of her employees on Friday as well. GAC has not replied to any of my emails, they wont set an appointment or speak to me on any level. Im being told by the other tenants that they get the same treatment, lack of resources, and all over the place about their rules and leases.I am trying to pay the rent, make sure i will be allowed to stay and continue to conduct business without any surprises. They will not acknowledge any of my request and are threatening to force me to leave for asking questions.
