I am a new agent and taking continuing education for the first time. I took one of his classes on zoom that I needed. I started the class right when it started, so I was late. In one area it did not let me sign up I think because it was so last minute and another area I was able to get right in the class. I thought maybe it let me in because I haven't used all my funds from what I pre-paid. I didn't pre-pay for a zoom class but wasn't trying to get the class free either. He called me less than 20 minutes after class ended and was rude as could be. Basically accused me of stealing from him. I could not believe how he acted. Very, very unprofessional. I had no problem paying for the class. I needed the ** certificate. All he had to say was, I sent you a link to pay for the class and then I'll prepare your certificate. Arrogant, rude, and extremely unpleasant to deal with. I will not be taking anymore of his classes. Too bad people are like this.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

This man is obviously set on his thoughts and feels that his attacking demeanor is acceptable in the professional world.  I would like to believe he would not act this way with other students in the future.  I do not believe that will happen though as he does not see anything wrong with his actions.

My reply to what his response is below.

If he did not have an issue with a student attending a class, why did he call me attacking me?  I was not expecting anything free. ******************** classes are not so exciting that I would just take the class if I did not need it.  I had not even been given long enough to figure out the next step in what I needed to do to get the certificate.  If the class let me in because I paid for other classes? If I need to pay $20.00 for this class?  Did not even have a chance to think about it.  I was thankful I was able to get into this class as it was one of the last classes I needed to take and I was happy my ******************** classes were coming to an end.

I never told him I thought I registered.  I told him I had been looking around for classes as I am new to doing classes.  I paid for a group of online classes that he had, covers 6 classes.  I told him I was not sure if it let me in because I paid for a group of his classes.  I knew I paid for internet classes and not zoom classes but I had not taken all my internet classes yet so I did not know if thats why it allowed me to take the class.

He never asked me to send him a receipt because I never told him I paid for the class.  I was not sure of the process.  I told him I had no problem paying for the class.  He told me there was a section on one of his online pages that I could click on, I recalled seeing it when I was searching around his site to see what classes he offered and when.  It did not mean anything to me at the time until he called me; then I was like, oh okay, yeah I saw that.  This is my first year doing these classes and there are multiple companies and people who offer the classes and everyone has a different set up.

***************************************************************************.   This is the link showing where you can pay for a bank of hours then pick the class you want to take.  I knew I paid for internet classes and not zoom.  I was not trying to get over on him or his company, I did not know how it worked.  I did not know why it allowed me to take the class.  I had no issues paying for the class.  As he said, it was $20.00.

I told him I was looking  for a class at the final minute of class.  This was my fault.  One area would not let me register I probably took too long clicking around looking around the sites to see what my options were, I am sure because it was last minute that was why it did not let me register in advance.  As I continued to click around another screen let me in the class.  I had multiple screens open for his company and others.

I was trying to get in the class right as it was starting.  Yes, this is my fault I was doing this at the last minute.

As I explained above he went over with me what I needed to do to pay for the class and get my certificate.  I was not doing anything wrong to apologize.  This man is not courteous at all.  He is right I am one person out of several thousand he has worked with.  I am sure this is not the first time he has acted out this way, maybe I am just the first person who reported his unprofessional behavior.

There is no revenge here or getting caught, I was not trying to get away with anything.  He should not act like he did as a person who is supposed to be helping and teaching people not attacking them.

I did pay for the class as soon as we got off the phone when he told me how I could.  I received my certificate.  To pay after was not difficult all.  I must not be the only one who had this happen to have him have a way to pay after class already set up.  Everyone is not out to get over on people.  I was just appalled how he acted, really could not believe it.  I am still shocked.  I have been in the business world both public and private and this is not how you are supposed to act as a professional person.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

I do not wish to go back and forth with this man.  I am not going to change his mind on his unprofessional behavior.  He obviously thinks how he treated me was justified and there is nothing wrong with his actions.

    Thank you.

You know, I told the young lady she could pay the whopping $20 and we could all move on. I don't attack my cutomers.  All she had to do was pay and we would all be done with this.  But she still hasnt paid.  If she paid, she would have had her certificate a month ago.  She wants to vent.  So, I will make a gesture.  I will give her a free class.  All she has to do is reigster using coupon code "GOODDEED". Respectfully, she has wasted her time, you time and my time, and I don't have the time for her nonsense.

This is what his problem is, he is so focused that he's right he doesn't even listen. I don't want his code, I already have the certificate he sent it as soon as I paid. I just wanted him to acknowledge he is wrong and apologize for how he acted/ is acting.

You can close this case. Thank you.
