Purchased a Class C motorhome 6 months ago from ***** of *********. Vehicle had catalytic converter stolen while brand new on lot, I know this because when we tried to take a test drive there was no catalytic converter on the vehicle. ***** replaced the missing catalytic converter with a non-OEM non-specification meeting catalytic converter and sold me the vehicle as "New" without disclosing the part. That catalytic converter is now causing a check engine light. ***** told me I had a full bumper to bumper warranty on the vehicle, however the vehicle manufacturer will not fix the check engine light under the warranty because of the non-OEM part ***** installed on the vehicle. I contacted the ***** sales manager on the telephone and informed of the problem over 3 weeks ago and let him know I wanted it fixed. They have not contacted me back nor offered to correct the problem.

As of 26 August this complaint has been resolved.

NIRVC of ********* contacted me about 3.5 weeks ago and said they had been contacted by the BBB regarding this complaint.  ********************** manager listened to my story and agreed with me that they should make the situation right.  They ordered the *** Catalytic Converter and replaced it last week to ensure my vehicle warranty would be restored.

This is for the ********* dealership: Be careful with bank wiring money. There is $17000.00 of my money missing somewhere...On 12/28/22 I wired (domestic) from my bank account (***** Fargo) to NIRVC NV LLC bank account ***** of America). The money left my account. I verified with NIRVC correct account information After several communications with *** in Finance I find out NIRVC has changed accounts to another bank (Comerica) as of 1/3/23. Not sure if this a cause.I have had a few communications with ***** (controller)? She states B of A does not have the funds. My bank insists the funds were wired to B of A appropriately. As of today 1/23/23 the funds still have not been returned to me. This is a large amount of hard earned money to me and I would expect that the folks at NIRVC would be calling both of their banks daily asking for a status. I am doing my due diligence on my end and filing complaints everywhere I can until the $17K is recovered. If I need to contract with an attorney, that is my next step.As for sales customer service: **** and ****** are friendly. No high pressure sales. As for follow-up: Expect to be doing most of the communicating. No one really takes the initiative to give updates to you unless you yourself pick up the phone or email them for an update. As with most sales, once you've signed the dotted line, no one is going to bend over backwards to help you.Do I like the rig I purchased? Yes. I still have to return the rig from CA to ** to have a windshield replaced and privacy screen repaired/replaced. That will probably be another ordeal that will cause more frustration, we'll see.
