    I took my motorcycle parts in to this business to have them powder coated, they damaged the parts the guy working ****** admitted he did and I was told they would make it right. I got a quote for the parts and sent it to them. ****** is telling me he will only pay half of the quote. this leaves me to have to pay for new parts they damaged. explaining this to him he got very vulgar and said very non professional things. I don't feel I should have to pay for parts they damaged. I have sent them emails and no response. I am left to file a complaint here or take them to small claims. I went over the surfaces with them and they sand blasted the machined surface making the parts not usable on the engine anymore as it will just leak oil. I have many more photos and the parts just sitting here. I also recorded our conversation and he admits they're all messed up. I just want the parts replaced so I can put my motorcycle back together. The owner talked to me and he stated he would make it right and never has called me back or answered my emails. I spoke with other shops and they said he has definitely ruined the parts and he should know better as a professional. *************** dealership has also confirmed the parts are damaged and not usable.

    The customer did in fact bring his motorcycle parts into our place of business requesting that they be powder coated. It was necessary to prep the parts for coating and they were media blasted to prepare them. The customer stated that the parts were damaged and would no longer function properly in the manner for which they were designed. Ostensibly, the customer took the parts to a motorcycle shop to have them looked at. After inspection of the parts our department manager concurred with the customer that there seemed to be a change in the sealable areas of the parts. Our position was and remains that we would pay for the replacement of the parts providing that the customer provides us with a quote for the parts being replaced verifying that he is replacing like for like parts and that he further relinquishes the original (damaged) parts to us. At the time, he was not willing to relinquish the parts, signifying to us that he was attempting to capitalize upon a mistake to acquire additional parts for his motorcycle. We have an impeccable reputation in the local market, and we would not jeopardize it for such a matter. We are more than willing to provide this solution for the customer.

    Not one time did anyone ask for the old parts. I have never received any responses to my emails that were sent along with the quote. ****** called one time and stated the owner would only pay half. Kinda odd they never put in email the things their saying. Me trying to gain on broken parts is insane and a way of them trying to justify not paying me. They can pick up the old parts along with payment to me. I have paid ****** in full for their damages out of my own pocket. I have a receipt showing I had to cover their damages to my parts. I have sent a demand letter and will be filing with the justice court for a trial hearing if payment isn't made immediately to me. Again they can pick up the parts they damaged and I had to replace I have no use for them and they are no good.
