    I wanted a foodsafe coating to put on wood items in a vegetable garden. I asked if it was *** cleared for food contact. They lied.     On 07/25/2025 I purchased a product from this company that claims to make your floors waterproof. It has 5 years warranty. I received the product on 08/05/24. Applied the product according to instructions. A month later I started to have issues - the product started to peel and bobbles accrued I contacted the merchant. No help. I hired licensed concrete professional and he found out that the product I received is 2 years past expiration date and was delivered in the open truck for over a week in over 100 degrees heat while the recommended temperature is under 72 degrees.

    Despite multiple emails and photos showing the product failure of the semco liquid membrane and prep products such as the stone cleaners, fabric that cost roughly $10,000, I only receive requests for more information such as getting a moisture meter reading of my cement dome home. The company stated that the product would work on my dome home and has a 5 year guarantee for product failure. I bought products between spring and fall 2023 and applied in Summer/fall 2023. The liquid membrane has bubbled all over the dome and peeled off. Pictures were sent of the failure and they have records of purchase though I do have receipts (this has not been an issue that I purchased products.) I am getting the run around and need the replacements so I can reapply during the Summer. I have been writing since April . I cannot link the emails here but have records of our emails. Semco only replies with requests like what the square footage of the house and can I get a moisture reading.

I was told I needed to also purchase cleaners and Natural shield to clean and dry out the floor before application. After the application of the Natural shield the moisture of the concrete was still to high apply the Liquid membrane. I contacted the company to see what to do and I was advised to apply more coats of the Natural shield. I was able to get the moisture reading down to under 3 percent per their instructions. I applied the liquid membrane only to have it not stick. It pealed off with ease. I again contacted the company only to be told I applied it wrong. I applied their product per their instructions. they offered to refund the Liquid membrane, but not the other items. I only purchased the other items because I was told by them that I needed it. It has been 6 months and my floor still isn't sealed. I have pictures and a lengthy email conversation I can provide.
