On 11/08/21 Green Energy **** / ********** wrote a contract to install 600 SQ FT of Heliocol Solar Pool Heating Panels on our roof.We accepted the contract and wrote a check for 50% of the cost of the install $4,300. Green Energy Solar returned on 11/10/21 to install the system. We wrote another check for the balance $4,300. once the install was completed. We were given warranty documentation for the system which was from Heliocol Solar Pool Heating. Green Energy left the warranty and invoices claiming that we had a 12 year warranty from Heliocol Pool Solar. The following spring 2022 Green Energy Solar returned to repair the system. They also returned spring 2023 and Fall 2024. The Fall 2024 service ******* has a brand name on the service tag for the repair parts. "Replaced two clamps for SUNXTREAM" Not Heliocol.Spring 2025 the system needed service again because of failed connector clamps. This time I called the manufacture/Distributor Magen Eco to complain about excessive service calls for my Heliocol System. Heliocol Solar Panels are the best in the business and repairs are very uncommon. On 5/14/25 I spoke with ***** ******** Technical Director of Magen Eco. I sent pictures and invoices to him for our system Green Energy Solar **** gave us. He called me and informed me the solar panels installed by Green Solar **** were not Heliocol Solar Panels. Our panels are cheap solar panel that Green Energy Solar installed instead of the Heliocol Solar Panels we believed we had purchased. The company's name at time of installation was Heliocol West and a dealer for Heliocol Solar Panels. Included warranty documentation for our system that was fake. What we received were SUNXTREAM Solar Panels not Heliocol Panels. I have attached all invoices and warranty paper work. Including a picture of a real Heliocol panel and the fake panels that were installed. We are seeking a full refund and the cost of the tear off of the solar panels Green Energy Solar **** installed.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,
Please know that ***** has never advised or suggested to *** ********* that any refund would be forthcoming.
*** ********* filed a BBB complaint and many other online attacks on Green Energy before *** ********* even contacted Green Energy regarding any issues.
After the BBB alerted Green Energy regarding the Yungerman complaint , ***** phone called *** Yungernman to learn about his complaint.
At that time, ***** only advised ********* that he would be looking into the complaint.   ********* took it upon himself to contact the BBB to close the complaint as resolved.
After Green Energy's review and investigation of the *** ********* complaint, it was determined that the job was performed and completed in 2021 as per the description of the contract.  The contract was agreed to and signed by ********* for a 600 square foot solar pool heating system.  A complete 600 square foot solar pool heating system was installed with superior type SunXtreme solar panels.  The SunXtreme solar panels have three O-Ring protections at every panel connection and also has an extra layer of re-inforcement protection at the tubes into the header connection.  The contract was performed and completed as sold.
The ********* panel manufacturer provides a twelve year warranty on the collectors for any defects.  The warranty would be voided if the panels were damaged by any other cause beyond the manufacturers control.
*** ********* did not properly drain the water from the collectors, panels and solar system before winter freeze temperatures.  The water that remained in the collectors froze and damaged the collectors and panels.  No collector manufacturer provides any warranty on freeze damaged collectors.
Mr. ********* advised that he is an experienced solar pool heat system owner. *** claimed he only needed to turn the control off at his other systems in *********** *** ********* is not happy about his Las Vegas freeze damaged panels and is attempting to intimidate and bully Green Energy to refund his entire purchase.
In an effort of goodwill, although not required, Green Energy has offered to replace the panels free of charge, and Green Energy has also offered to provide one free winterization and start up service to educate Yungerman on proper procedures for the winterization, however *** ********* claims he will only accept a full refund which will allow him the ability to purchase new panels from a different company to begin a new twelve year manufacturers warranty.
Although Mr. ********* has benefited from the solar system over the years, *** threatened that he will continue online assaults on Green Energy's reputation until *** ********* gets his way.

    Complaint: 23342348

I am rejecting this response because:

***** Dancer at Green Energy/SunSplash responded to the wrong BBB Complaint. Arizona BBB has an A+. Nevada BBB has a rating of F for unauthorized use of BBB logo on his website and is no longer endorsed. In ******* Green Energy has a BBB Rating of A+ which is not deserved. There are many review on ****** and Yelp from dissatisfied customers.

If we don't receive our refund of $8.600 by 06/18/25 in a cashier's check we intend to sue Green Energy in Small Claims Court as per our Small Claims Court demand letters. There are seven days left. Green Energy has received two demand letters with these facts. The truthful reviews will be removed if we receive our monies back. Our reviews are a matter of free speech, not dependent on whether or not Green Energy likes them. Their SunXtreme panels will be stacked in our side yard for pick up for seven days. If we don't receive our refund the reviews will stay in place to warn other consumers of Green Energy's poor business practices.

The issue here is not about extending warranties, their lies about our inability to protect our system each winter, etc. It is about the fact that we ordered Heliocol solar panels but got SunXtreme panels that we we did not even know existed. Everything was Heliocol. Their name (Heliocol West), their ads and website for Heliocol panels, our checks made out to and endorsed by Heliocol West and the fact that they gave us a Heliocol Warranty Card. This is breach of materials contract because we did not get what we ordered.

Green Energy offered to remove their SunXtreme panels and install Heliocol panels free of charge. We had to reject this offer because they are not an authorized Heliocol dealer and cannot install Heliocol panels. Any warranty would be void.

We want Green Energy to send us our refund of $8600 and this all goes away.

    Sincerely,

    ******* *********
