    My wife and I are Senior Citizens and fell victim to a solar deal in which we were duped into a scheme which included a $60,000 2nd mortgage on our home, and an increase in the original cost. This was not the original agreement. The company is Tempo Solar World and the sales *** is ****** *****. We have spoken to the client addressing specific concerns about the Federal Tax Credit for solar projects. The client has spoken to our management team and fully understands the project. Client has since agreed to remove the complaint with the BBB and is satisfied with Tempo Solar World.

    Im writing to report and to seek assistance regarding fraudulent business practiced by a solar company called Tempo Electric (DBA Tempo Solar World LLC)I, Piyatillake Herath, leased solar panels from a company called Tempo Electric (DBA Tempo Solar World LLC) on December 6, 2022, when their sales representatives came to my house requesting time for an information presentation. They promised to have zero NV energy bills, if we decide to lease the panel from their company. On the initial visit, they said for ************************************************************************** energy. As a recent retiree it seemed financially beneficial to sign a contract with this solar company and I entered contract with Them. The agreed upon the price for the solar panel was $36,889. They installed the panels on our roof on December 15,2022. However, they did not install the main panel upgrade which should be done by NV Energy. On December 14th, 2022, they increased the contract to $41,389 (with a financing total of $62,717.78) when inquired about the increase they mentioned that they must pay $4,900 to NV energy for the main panel upgrade. The company then stated that NV energy will be at our house to install the main panel, but nobody came from NV energy. When we called NV energy to inquire, they claimed that NV energy is not doing business with Tempo Electric (DBA Tempo Solar World LLC). Now we have solar panels on our roof, but they are not functional.After the holiday season, we tried to contact Tempo Electric (DBA Tempo Solar World LLC) several times and they were unreachable. Finally, when we were able to speak to Tempo Solar, they said that one of the sales representatives (who was also our account manager) had stolen the payment issued from the leasing company, ****************** So, the solar installation company was unable to pay NV energy for the main panel upgrade.It is not acceptable for companies like this to use deception and fraud to steal money from vulnerable people like myself. As mentioned prior in my statement, now we have solar panels on our roof that do not work, and we are stuck with a contract that has already been breached. Please can you investigate this issue and help/ guide us to settle the matter with Tempo Solar World, LLC and ****************** Thank you, Piyatillake Herath
