The worst tattoo I’ve gotten, from the work, the people, and the atmosphere. I went on a $20 tattoo event for Halloween. Our artist was in a rush for the event, and had the heaviest hand I’ve ever felt. I have my ribs blasted, I’m used to tattoo pain, and I have several others on my arm. This 5 min semi colon tattoo had me holding back tears. In the following 2 hours, it began to bleed the most any tattoo I have had. It bled so much that it leaked through the Saniderm. My bf also got a small knife tattoo, just line work, and he bled through his saniderm. I also decided to add on a piercing since they were also discounted. To my understanding, I was paying the $30 for 2 piercings, jewelry sold separately. All of their promo and the sheet I signed stated just the flat rate, not other info. I got back to Leyla’s chair, and asked about titanium. I have SEVERELY sensitive ears and can only have titanium earrings, especially for cartilage piercings. I again, have several other piercings, all were done with titanium needle and jewelry, so I thought it was customary. When I asked, she snapped at me, saying “you don’t come in on a half price day trying to pick through my titanium” and declined me paying for the jewelry. Ultimately, after cutting me off while I was being polite, she said she’d refund me. I at least got the piercing money back, but her rude attitude ruined the rest of my day and the entire experience. I was nothing but nice and even other customers sitting near by were SHOCKED at how rude she was. Speaking of their promo and online presence, their entire ******** and the specific group for the event was riddled with posts begging for tips. I, of course, tip my artists, but the incessant posts constantly about it were a huge turn off. Posted all around the entire shop were signs reminding you to tip, saying it “kept them going”. Overall, horrible experience and a waste of my wrist space and $20. (Plus a $10 tip). Ridiculous how they can treat people like that.
