    Date: August 23, 2024 Re: One way Desert Cab taxi ride from ***************** to **************, approximate time-8:00 am I was charged $60.07 on my debit card for a one way ride from ************* to ************** w/c is approximately 6 miles distance. When I googled the actual cost, the cab ride ranges from $25 minimum. Desert Cab debit is OUTRAGEOUS and uncacceptable. $30 including tip is more appropriate.     I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. In addition, I spoke with ********* ******, Desert Cab Admin who issued a refund in the amount of $30.00 (transaction code 023616).  That being said, please close case complaint ID ********.     On January 28, **** at 4am we took a desert cab from the ******** hotel to *** airport. The charge was $30 dollars. I do not have the cab number. I left my iPhone in the cab. Using the find my phone feature I saw that the phone was in the cab and have evidence that the phone was in the Desert Cab offices the next day on Jan. 29. Ive used the lost and found feature and the contact us feature but have heard no response from the business. The phone is a iPhone 14 Pro with a clear plastic cover. I would like to receive a response from the company on why they have my phone and have not returned it.

    This happened on the 7 of September 2023 I was over charged on my cab fair the cab company was desert cab I have had cab rides to the same location before and I never had to pay 40 dollars from 204 Jefferson ave to ********** and ***** the ride normally cost me ***** the most but this cab driver was not listening to me and he went and took the long way back to my house I don't belive its right for cab drivers to take advantage of anyone he also made a stop at pepes tacos and went to the bathroom and left the fair thing running why should I have to pay for that and he had started the fair running before me and my mother got In The cab .
