Important information

  • Customer Complaint:
R&R Venture Group, parent company for RR Closing Services claims RR Closing Services has been dissolved. R&R Venture Group claims they are the processor or closing agent for Vacation Services International (VSI) and Excess Property Solutions (EPS) and charges a $349 closing fee in addition to the cost of the purchase agreement.

According to complaints filed with BBB since March of 2013, timeshare owners are invited to a presentation by RR Closing Services on behalf of VSI and Excess Property Solutions (EPS) during which they are offered a program called Timeshare Enhancement Relief Program or T.E.R.P. Consumers have reported to BBB that they have paid $4,000 - $12,000 for the T.E.R.P. Program. The program includes an annual membership with VSI and an opportunity through Excess Property Solutions to purchase timeshare points, change timeshare weeks to a point system, or convert timeshare points into cash by renting their unused points to corporations for profit.

Consumers were told they could expect to receive a payout for renting their unused points in 6 months, however, complainants state that they do not receive the money. Many consumers have filed complaints with R&R Venture Group based on the fact that R&R Venture Group is the entity that charged the fees. Some consumers have filed complaints with VSI. To resolve these complaints, VSI sometimes issues refunds of $349 or $199 back to the consumer indicating that these are the costs associated with the VSI part of the package. VSI has stated to BBB that the other monies mentioned in complaints were paid to RR Closing Services/R&R Venture Group for other parts of the T.E.R.P. Program and directs consumers to contact Lisa Jacobe with R&R Venture Group at (877) 572-2090 or Excess Property Solutions at (888) 441-5895. R&R Venture Group typically responds to complaints stating that the complaint is with VSI or EPS as they are responsible for depositing the consumers' inventory for rental and communicating the rental process and payout schedule.

Excess Property Solutions is located in Morris, IL. Vacation Services International, LLC is located in Portsmouth, OH.
