I am rejecting this response because: whomever sent the response stated they attached a photo of my trailer but I see no such attachment. They also state that the owner treated me with respect and patience which is a flat out lie. The owner was cussing at me belittling me and threw me out of his establishment simply because he didnt want to answer my questions. On the second visit he again lied about his treatment of me kicking me out of his office again and then making sexist remarks towards my wife. They have cameras in that office have him show proof of how I was treated and what he said. If he has nothing to hide and isnt wrong the. He should be able to provide video evidence. I have proof via photographic evidence that I built that built that trailer in my backyard, I also have the in my possession the matching brake drum and wheel barrings with matching numbers that belong on that axle. Plus proof of the material in the trailer itself thats attached to my truck and proof that there was another tow dolly that had to be moved in order for the truck to access that trailer. Showing once again that the tow company and their employees are flat out lying about everything that transpired. So logically if they are found to be lying about two different things then obviously they are lying about everything else and need to be reprimanded for their dishonest behavior. If theyre doing this to me how many others are they doing this too? I just wanted my property out of the trailer but because I was not going to pay the fees they are purposely lying and withholding my property for bailment for the fees. That is illegal for them to do. So please have them send over the unedited video recordings of my two visits to prove that they are being honest.

      Sincerely,

****** *********ing about my first attempt to resolve this issue. It was also brought to my attention that despite the 30 hold by ********* ** the owner attempted to have my trailer inspected and vinned without my consent. He also made it clear that he was doing so because he already lost his a** on the tow and was looking for compensation which I do believe is illegal for him to do. He again made me leave the office when I was asking questions he didnt want to answer. Basically stating that he was going to keep my trailer and all of my materials, tools, and equipment that I use for work so he can sell it and make money since I said I was forfeiting the trailer. He had made zero attempt to get ahold of me or the property management company in order to locate the owner of the trailer which again is against the law. I have tried everything in my power to claim my property and now forced to take him to court for theft of my property. Walker towing needs to be shut down for their shady business deals

      Business Response

      Date: 06/13/2025

Dear Mr. ******************* you stated, the vehicle was impounded by Walker at the request of Code Enforcement for no registration. A different trailer did not have to be moved to reach the trailer that was impounded.

You were speaking with the Site Manager and he stated that you were treated with respect and extreme patience. The owner spoke with you on the phone trying to see if you could come up with a resolution.

Unfortunately, while I understand your frustration, we cannot release the trailer and/or it's property without proof of ownership.

I've attached pictures of your trailer for your reference.

      Thank you.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 06/22/2025

I have added further evidence of my tow dolly being photographed by code enforcement officer ******* ******, clearly showing that it was parked in front of my trailer that was later impounded by walker/Ewing bros towing. It also shows that on April 30, 2025 my dolly was now sitting in front of my enclosed trailer across the sidewalk which would cause yet another code violation. I will swear under oath that I did not move that tow dolly before or after the incident in question. Meaning either the code enforcement office,  ******* ******, or the tow truck driver representing walker/Ewing bros towing had to have moved my trailer without permission or legal right to gain access to my trailer that was tagged for removal and subsequently impounded. Meaning that either Ewing bros or ******* ****** took illegal actions to move my property to carry out the towing. Making the impoundment illegal thus unjustified. It also means that walker/Ewing bros have effectively stolen my trailer, possessed a stolen vehicle, refused to give it back when asked to do so, and no doubt sold stolen property for bailment or scraped my property illegally. Im using this complaint as evidence and grounds for a civil lawsuit. As well as a notice of intent to sue which will be followed up with a formal written notice of intent after I file with the civil court tomorrow.

The attachment you provided did not show any further evidence. It was the same thing that was provided in your initial complaint.

We requested the full report from the ******************. It is 36 pages and is too large to attach to this complaint, but it is public record so you can also retrieve a copy. It contains a full report along with pictures of the scene as well as removal of the other trailer from a different tow facility.

I am attaching the first two pages for your reference which contains information about the tow we did. In the enforcement officer's statement, he states that you moved the second trailer while Walker Towing was in the process of removing the trailer in question.

If you need more information from the report we received, or if you'd like additional pictures, we'd be more than happy to provide you with them.

      Thank you.

ped by Ewing Bros location. I had a chance to talked to the manager, *****. He Looked at the damaged tires and made the quick conclusion that this wasn't his company fault. I tried to explain to him that my car wasn't like that when I left it. ***** refused to take responsibility for the damage tires. He stopped cooperating and walked away. On March ****** I had to pay $598.38 for two new tires. I'm hoping to get compensation.

      Business Response

Customer stated that when he left his car, it was in perfect condition and that Ewing Bros may have damaged his tire.

Attached is pre and post tow pictures reflecting the condition of the tire before it was in Ewing Bros custody.

He also stated that he had this tire assessed by 5 different Tire experts. In a quote from ******************************** a Service Writer noted on the quote, Tire looks to have been punctured by something, could possibly be from tow truck from rubbing metal side while loading or unloading. Directly after that was another note stating, could also be just a straight puncture from something sharp, unconclusive.

Our unit #*** that responded to the scene does not have metal sides that can also be referred to as bed rails.

In another tire assessment, one expert from *** ***** Tire, ***** Dueler, pointed out that the front left tire was damaged as well on the same side of the vehicle (driver's side).

In our Tow supervisor's opinion...where the damages are on the tires and what it looks like, it does not appear to be tow related. It looks as if the customer may not have noticed that both driver side tires might have had little to no air pressure and was driving on the sidewalls prior to being pulled over. The nature of why we were requested to come and tow the vehicle could have been a contributing factor as to why the customer may not have noticed the tires having little to no air pressure in them.

Evaluating Ewing Bros attached pre and post pictures!

      1) First photo pre tow - Looking at this pictures I can't clearly see and can't tell if tire is damage or not. It's to dark to see on this picture.

      2) Second photo post tow - I can clearly see on this picture tire is flat. Picture is from Ewing Bros. tow parking lot.

       My questions are:

When the tow driver arrived at the scene (corner Trap.& *****) on Jan *******. When / If he noticed left rear tire to be flat (can't see on the picture). Why he never notified front office or any manager/owner?

When I arrived on that evening to pick up my car from Ewing Bros tow parking lot. Why nobody notified me about any damage tires?

I found out when I saw my car. Also why there isn't any damage reported on Customer Copy Tow Invoice?

It was me who reported this immediately to the front office! Why not tow driver or parking lot employee?

When I tried to contact any manager/owner for 19 days. When I made several phone calls and every time left the message with front office. Why never nobody call me back?

      Why I was completely ignored?

Why on Feb ******* I had to personally go to see and talk to manager/owner?

Why on that day ***** blamed me for damage my own tires, without any evidence or proof?

***** theory was that I must hit the side curb to caused damage to both tires. Now new theory is that I drove on flat tires in order to damage them. Both theories completely out flat wrong and not logical.

According to five tire experts in both cases tire either disintegrate, shattered, break into pieces or explode, blow out on impact.

In my case one tire is slice cut and other is puncture both on the sidewalls.

Ewing Bros managers/owners tried to sweep this problem under the rug, now for over a year. They continue create theories instead looking at the facts.

This problem isn't going away I can promise you that. I'll not rest until I'll get back my money!

The only question is: How far and how much Ewing Bros is willing to go and damage their reputation?

      Customer Answer

Additional materials from police video cameras from Jan 31-2024.

      Video 409(3).mp4

In this video you can clearly see that ***** RX350 left tire isn't flat yet. Why?

Because bottom tire with air in it is about four inches from tire rim.

When you look at the back of the vehicle (and there is clear video of it), the car isn't slightly tilted to the left side. If it was that meant there was a flat tire!

But ***** RX350 is completely in horizontal line, even to the road. That means flat tire wasn't there yet.

At this point I was in police custody.

Therefore Ewing Bros theories that I damaged my own car are out of the window!

      Video 409(11).mp4

In this video Metro Officer *. ********* P. #***** start vehicle inventory. You can clearly see ***** RX350 is still perfectly horizontal to the road.

He was the last remaining officer on the scene. Couple minutes into this video you can see when he was standing directly next to left rear tire. Officer never mentioned anything in his report about flat tire.

      This is very important evidence.

In the end of the video he concluded his inventory and awaits for tow truck.

Now if Ewing Bros still isn't convinced that my car damage happened when they took over the possession.

There is only one way that Ewing Bros can be clear of accusation.

They have to prove that ***************** did it!

Help my vehicle was towed to Ewing bros on Saturday , OCt 26 , 2024 at 1:26 pm Subsequent to this two diamonds rings and a Gold Nameplate went missing out of my car After an unsuccessful retrieval on Sunday due to absence of title, I reclaimed my vehicle on Monday and observed an issue with the right wheel turning on its own.

      Business Response

      Date: 03/04/2025

Customer stated in complaint that there was (2) diamond rings and a gold name plate missing out of his vehicle. I have attached the Metro Officers report that includes a very detailed inventory of the contents of the vehicle, prior to Ewing Bros taking custody of the vehicle. Said missing items are not listed on this detailed inventory the officer had recorded.

Customer stated in complaint that upon retrieval of his vehicle he observed an issue with the right wheel turning on its own. I have attached pictures that our driver had taken at the scene of the accident/arrest. These pictures reflect that the customer had collided with the curb at the center median going into oncoming traffic and collided with another curb ultimately stopping the vehicles momentum. Pictures clearly show the vehicle had sustained steering and suspension component damage from the path traveled before coming to a stop. Vehicle hit both curbs hard enough to knock the fender up and out of alignment with the rest of the body.

Please let me know if you need anything further.

      Thank you.

      Hello,

This is in response to complaint filed by *** ******* - ID ******** on 9/13/2024.

The 2006 Range Rover VIN 8701 was impounded at the request of the ********************************* on 5/18/2024. Our records indicate that the vehicle was towed at 18:01, not 4:30pm as stated in the complaint. I have attached our delivery receipt as well as the tow receipt from the *********************************. The police receipt shows the registered owner as ******** ******.

As for the complaint about retrieving their personal items, they were unable to show proof that they were the registered owner, so they were not allowed access to the vehicle. Our liens department searched the vehicle in ********* Direct and found that the vehicle was last registered to an owner in **********. A certified letter was sent to both ******** ****** and the owner in **********. An Ad was also posted in the ************************ to notify the legal owner before the vehicle could be put up for auction.

The vehicle was sold at auction on 7/27/24 for $651.41. At that time fees and storage totaled $4,492.27.

I have attached all paperwork for your reference.

      Thank you.

This company towed my car, a 2003 Buick Century, grey color, license plate ******* NV just after 3 hours that I left my car properly parked at about 6:30 PM on February 16, 2024 on the freeway around *******************. I went back to pick up my vehicle due to my car being overheated, but I had no access to the freeway due to the construction on Tropicana Ave. I went back again in the morning on 2/17/24 and I still had no access to the freeway. I then found and went to the company that towed my vehicle with the $346.11 they were asking for, and they did not accept it because I didn&#**;t have the vehicle title. I then called the police and the officer spoke to them and told them I had all the appropriate documentation to get the title from the **** The officer did not obtain any results. I explained to them that all the documents are properly notarized just like the *** requires. They told me that they needed the title and I explained to them that I have lost the title.Translated by H363137**3238313831H 2/21/2024

The vehicle was towed without warning because of project DROP-ICANA. The *** completely closed the freeway from Tropicana to *******************. starting Friday night 2/16/2024 and ended Monday morning 2/19/2024. ************ Police (***) requested Ewing ****** **** to tow the vehicle because it was blocking the work zone.   Attached is the *** Tow Report and Delivery Receipt for the tow.

As far as the paperwork provided, as noted on the bill of sale it just releases interest in a vehicle, which is not valid documentation for ownership. A certificate of title or other ownership documents must accompany that form. The application for a duplicate ****** certificate of title was notarized but needs to be turned into the **** they will submit for a duplicate title to be sent to the owner, which is still reflected as ************.

***************************** was instructed to go to *** but he chose not to and his vehicle is accruing storage daily.  If Mr.  ************************* has taken all that paperwork to **** he would have gotten a copy of the Certificate of Title, which along with the Bill of Sale, would have used to prove ownership.   Ewing ****** **** would have released the vehicle to him.

The Police officer who contacted our office, could not certify that ***************************** was the legal owner of the vehicle.  He would not provide his authorization to release the vehicle to *****************************.

Ewing ****** **** has a responsibility to protect the vehicles in our possession as an approved impound yard.  We require proof of ownership in order to release any vehicle.

***************************** can still take his paperwork to the *** and receive the document necessary to release the vehicle.

Our car was taken from LV Metro on 11/13/2023, there was a police report filed with items listed that were included in the car. When we picked up the car on 11/16/2023 in dual with the manager *****, the cash was not in the car. The police report stating when the car was released from LV Metro there was $336. The company acknowledge that the funds were removed from the car while in their possession however they are not returning my calls in order for me to get the money back. I have paid for the towing fees but they are not returning my money that was in the car. Every time I call someone takes a message and no body follows up. I spoke to the manager and he keeps saying he is investigating. He can take years to investigate who he wants to fire but I would like to retrieve the money that was in the car, No employee should have access to the towed cars for them to go in and remove items from the car, I also filed a complain form and gave it to the manager since he stated that it was there process and still no call back or follow up. I would like to get the money that was stolen from their employee. They are no conducting business properly, avoiding calls, responsibilities, reimbursement. They are going into peoples cars while the cars are stored in their yard. Please help me get a resolutions for this misconduct.

We are very sorry this issue was not resolved sooner.  Our team was investigating by looking at video surveillance footage to determine if the money located in your vehicle was stolen and by whom.  This does not mitigate the fact that the money was noted on the police report. We were just trying to be thorough in our response.

We will have a check ready in the amount of $336.00 for the customer to pick up.  ***************************** is the registered owner and whom the vehicle was released to.

**************** will need to come to the Ewing ****** ********************** located at ****************** Floor, with proper ID to claim the check.  ********** is open M-F from 9AM - 5PM.

Again we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.

my vehicle was towed for Las ****************** via Ewing Brothers to be stored at there business until I was able to obtain proper paperwork and money to have my car released. After doing a bit of research I found on the website that if I was not the current owner that I would be able to come in with a notarized letter from the owner if they were unable to be there, and a valid drivers license along with proof of insurance. I brought all of the items that were listed as required along with more to help the process. Also with all the needed cash at the time to be able to retrieve my vehicle from the yard. The lady working the front desk in the evening the night I arrived said everything I had looked like more than enough, but that she wanted me to wait and speak to the day manager, ***. When I called to speak with him in the morning he was very rude to me. and still would not accept my documentation. Though the website said that everything I had was more than enough. I did not have a chance to pay for transfer of title in **************** bc I had to leave in a hurry as I was fleeing an extremely violent domestic situation. The car was a gift to help me get out of the ******************* in a hurry with what I could carry. I made it here safely, just to now feel unsafe again as I cant get anywhere quickly without a vehicle as well as the condition of my legs. I can no longer afford the fews that are being tacked on day after day by Ewing ***** Thank you for your time.

We are empathetic with **************** situation but the documents she presented to our office and attached to this complaint did not show that she was the lawful owner of the vehicle.
As a secured impound facility, it is our responsibility to protect the vehicles in our custody.  *************** vehicle did not have a current registration or plates.  The proof of insurance that she provided does prove ownership of the vehicle.  The ******************* screen print just shows that the vehicle was sold from the prior titled owner, not to whom it was sold. The prior owner did his part by notifying the state of the sale but the new owner did not title the vehicle.
************** may have interpreted what ***, the Tow Manager, told her as rude because it was not what she wanted to hear.  She wanted him to make an exception due to her personal situation which would have been unethical.
*** did advise her that if she knew the owner of the vehicle to which it was sold, she could get the title for the vehicle from that person which would allow ************** to take possession of the vehicle.  ************** did not come back with any of the documents.
As required by NRS *******, the rates charged for this nonconsensual tow are approved by the ****** Transportation Authority.  We are unable to adjust those rates.
If ************** would like to bring the partial documents she attached to this complaint to our office for review, we would be happy to help her.

Hi, thank you for your response in regards to this matter. The vehicle in question was towed to the Ewing brothers lot and the owner of the vehicle whom is my grandmother *******************************, what is present and we were still denied access to the vehicle involved. I have documents from apple.com as well as ******* wireless proving that the last known location was there at the Ewing brothers toll lot. If they are denying that the owner was there that is untruthful, and I am more than willing to have my grandmother, the sole owner of the vehicle validate my statement. have not communicated with me, and I would like to find a conclusion to this matter immediately, I believe Better Business Bureau should post any, and all reviews behind this business, to expose the true to the public that this is a low quality business, and they deserve to be sued for stealing thousands of dollars from their customers. In my case alone, they have committed a felony by stealing well over $1000 worth of my property and I am requesting for immediate action to be taken. I am currently filing a civil suit case against this business, and I will not discontinue my efforts to have my belongings returned to me at any cost. This business should not be able to get away with stealing from the public if anyone else has had a similar issue, please report them immediately to Better Business Bureau.

The referenced vehicle was towed in on 3/1/2022 by another tow company from the accident scene by request of the Las *************************************  Ewing ****** **** received the vehicle in our yard on that date.  The documentation from the police officer on scene as well as the tow company that brought Ewing ****** **** the impounded vehicle did not inventory a cell phone in the vehicle.

The registered/legal owner was not **********************************  If ********************** came to our office to retrieve the property within the vehicle, he would not have been able to access the vehicle because he could not show proof of being the owner.   As an impound facility, it is our responsibility to ask for current ownership documentation before allowing access or any property removal.  6 days later the insurance company on behalf of the vehicles owner released the vehicle to CoPart for tow out of Ewing **** ****s yard.

********************** could have gotten a notarized letter from the registered/legal owner authorizing his access to the vehicle.  He would have been told that when he came to our office, if he did.  There is no record of him requesting access to the vehicle.

Since the vehicle was removed from our yard and so much time has elapsed since this incident, we do not have the means to research and based on the documentation provided from 2 sources outside of the Ewing ****. **** organization, there is no proof that a cell phone was even in the vehicle.

If your grandmother was present with ID and title or registration, there would have been no reason why you couldn't have accessed the vehicle.

Again, unfortunately since it has been over 18 months since this incident, we cannot research to determine whether there was a cell phone in the vehicle or not.  Especially since it was not listed as property in the police report.  Metro is diligent about listing property.

Hi, yes my grandmother ******************************* was definitely present for every day that the Kia ******** was located at the Ewing brothers truck repair tow lot. She stated multiple times that the proof of registration as well as the insurance information to prove ownership was located in the glove box. I will have her contact your business once more as well to speak with the general manager. I have also since then, had an attorney, send a demand letter via certified mail and has not received a single response from this business either and the certified letter was sent only a few weeks after the date in question. Now that it is over 18 months its been way too long for us to have gone without hearing anything back and at this point, I will make sure to send another demand letter through certified mail to my attorney.
I have filed a police report and Ill be requesting for them to visit this business to speak with whomever is in charge. Apple and Verizons have both provided exact GPS coordinates proving the device was last powered on at ******************************** ** at Ewing **** Truck Repair. Whoever took my phone at Ewing **** Truck Repair attempted to put a different sim card into the phone with no success. I am absolutely adamant about being compensated by Ewing **** immediately.

This customer is stating that we didn't allow him access to the vehicle but would have gone to the vehicle to look for registration as a courtesy.  He or his grandmother did not have the appropriate documents to prove they were who they say they are - a valid ID showing who she was in order for us to begin the process.  No one is able to just say it is their car or even to say that the registration is in it to prove it.  They must first prove to us that they are the legal owners before we attempt to find document in the vehicle.

This claim is totally unsubstantiated.  As well as no documentation of the cellular phone in the vehicle by the police department upon impound at the scene.

Please remove any damage his reported claim would cause.

We will await the certified letter from an attorney and respond in the same manner as we have to the customer.

He has not provided any of the reports from the cell carrier in order to validate that he even had a cell phone.  Again no cellphone noted by the office at scene or the other tow company that actually towed his vehicle.

We empathize with the customer but with the backlog *** has in processing titles, it is an exercise in patience for all parties involved.

This Lien packet was mailed on 4/17/2023 and returned to us on 06-05-2023.  The *** rejected because the And/Or box was not checked on the Lien Sale Affidavit but when the packet was reviewed it was determined that the incorrect Affidavit has been submitted.  The customers name was multi hyphenated and even though our office created the affidavit with the correct name the one submitted was the wrong one.

The lien packet was corrected and resent to the *** on 06-15-2023 with the tracking number EI425305653US.  The *** received the lien packet on 06-20-2023. The title should be processed in a few weeks.  However, with the *** it is difficult to estimate.  We have reached out to them, but they can only confirm receipt of the correction. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the ***s timetable.

If the customer could hang on for a bit longer, we could reimburse $100 of the moving permit fees.  Please have the customer contact us.
