    I ordered this part for my vehicle in the pictures it was was in good shape easy to work with, what I got looks like a child made the mold that has never done fiberglass molding, and now when I ask for a refund they want me to pay for the shipping which I already paid for once when I purchased the part so they want me to pay the shipping twice which was 190 +190 which is more than the part itself and they're saying that in the description it states that you need to modify the part but my professional shop said they would need to make a new bunper with how bad that one is and charge me double the price of that bumper just in prep because they would need to make a new bumper because of how trash that one is and the company is saying they isn't anything wrong when the professional shop said they wouldn't touch it because they couldn't guarantee the fiberglass would even hold up longevity wise and now they dont want to refund me the shipping and want me to pay again to ship it back which is more than the bumper is worth.

    The product doesn't fit even close. It would take a huge substantial amount of modifications to make work. They also suggest removing factory safety equipment from the vehicle to make it fit.

    I purchased from this company on February 28/ 2024 The above reference order #****** The order placed was made different as you advertised, it wont fit on my car. see the following pictures attached ?? showing our original front bumper cover and their. Showing a big gap by both sides of the headlights mounting And it seems to be made for other car..wont fit on my car

    Hi *****, The images you attached do not show dry fitting of the bumper on the vehicle, they only highlight an area that *** need a small amount fiberglass added (if it's even visible under the headlight). 

    If you would like us to open a fitment case with the manufacturer Extreme Dimensions then we need fitment pictures of the parts dry fitted to the car.

    If you do need to add to those small areas that is normal for fiberglass Duraflex bumpers which is why we state multiple times (on the product page and tems pages) that modification is requires and you *** need to add fiberglass, these bumpers are not ready for paint and need to be prepped/installed professionally.  If you are not satisfied with the bumper you *** return it for a full refund.

    10/13/23 Order Date Order # ****** 10/16/23 Shipped 10/25/23 hood arrived- noted no damage on box- hood poorly manufactured.10/27/23 contacted company and let them know hood was poorly manufactured- company responded that it looks like it was damaged during shipping- again let them know no damage to box. 11/1-11/7 tried to get in contact with company again for response on issue. 11/15 Sent photos again to ************************* 11/17- called and sent another email asking for a response 11/21 sent another email asking for a response 11/28 contacted business via ******** and their response was to email ************************* I have several email threads to provide proof of multiple times trying to contact and get a resolution.

    We sent the pictures of the carbon fiber hood you submitted to the manufacturer, Extreme **************** for their review. We expect to hear back from them within a few days.
    Because genuine carbon fiber is hand-laid and not machine-made printed patterns so it may show slight inconsistencies when examined closely. These inconsistencies are usually considered normal and would be present on any replacement hood from their inventory, especially on the inside of vents or where layers of carbon intersect.  Once Extreme *************** replies to us we will reply back here with the update and see what can be done.

    I purchased side skirts for a 2020 ****** BRZ on Oct 2nd they didn't fit not molded like body lines. I paid $253 Carbonhiberhoods.com agreed to refund full amount if I paid shipping. Took to ***** shipping was going to cost me $190. Carbonfiberhoods.com asked for pictures of how the parts didn't line up so I sent in pictures never heard back. Now I'm out of $253 and parts that are useless. I went through PayPal thinking they would back me. Told me they'd try to contact and see if they'd cover shipping never heard back from then either. I shouldn't have to pay for shipping if the item is not what they described. Now past 30 days waiting to hear back

    The buyer has asked to escalate this dispute to a claim.

    Once you escalate to a claim in Paypal, Paypal will not extend any time for test fitting and help with fitment, it really narrows your options due to the time constraint imposed by you escalating the case. Paypal cases have limited dialogue before a resolution is forced, per the resolution options Paypal allows we agreed to a full refund with return of the item, which we have refunded in full.

    It would've been a lot easier to leave as a Dispute (not escalated case) or just work directly with us because there are a lot of questions and things that can be done to fit the skirts, is it hitting your aftermarket front fenders if so it just needs trimming or sanding to wrap around.  Is it hitting anything else, is so what? Excess fiberglass buildup causing gap that just needs sanding?  Escalated Paypal cases don't allow dialogue back and forth like that.

    As far as the claim of the part not fitting we can help when you give us pictures so that we can show the issue to our rep at Extreme Dimensions and they can tell us what needs to be done.  The part loosely fitting without being clamped in place in a dimly lit driveway not being installed by a bodyshop isn't going to be sufficient for Extreme Dimensions to deem it defective or not, they may ask you apply a heat gun, use self tapping screws on the rear quarter panel, sanding down the fiberglass where it's too thick too allow more flexibility or closer fitment.  To get an idea of how workable fiberglass is this video is a good example: ****************************

    It is not advertised as a bolt-on part, it requires fiberglass work and professional installation:

    The company sent me a defective rear bumper and tried to repair it before sending out knowing it was previously damaged . The bumper do not match the body line of the car. It doesnt even fit on the car which is ridiculous and it short on material to reach fender line on the wheel ***** . When contacted no accountability was taken . This bumper required re modification. Nothing near prep work . Would not recommend buying from them unless you want to donate your money to them for doing horrible business

    This is not an OEM plastic bolt-on paint ready bumper, please see the description: It is advertised as requiring fiberglass work "Cutting and adding of fiberglass may be required for proper fitment", this is typical for all fiberglass parts.  We have reviewed the picture and this is perfectly workable if fitted by someone experienced in fiberglass.  Here's a good example video for fitting an entire kit ****************************

    I purchased carbon fiber fenders for my **** ********** Lancer from Carbon Fiber Hoods at *****************************. The parts arrived scratched, cut ** some parts, literally worn and the carbon fiber weave was torn, they used a marker pen to scribble over the defects, (which shows that they knew the parts were defective and decided to cover it up). The email conversations after got real interesting especially when they said that they did not see anything "incredibly wrong" with the items. I mean, since when do they get to decide what is "incredibly wrong" and what is not? For the amount I paid, I would hope these parts are in perfect shape. Even then, it is not about the money, why sell products in such poor condition and then blame the manufacturer? Till now they have not taken ownership and keep blaming the manufacturer (Extreme Dimensions) even though I purchased the items through them. The customer service is another level of horrible and the person I spoke to even raised his voice at me. Not sure how this business is still open but they have similar structured websites so even if you avoid ****************************, they have Overboost **********************, Carbon Creations ***********************************, VS Aero *******************************, and they have an affiliation with HiBoost ************************.
