      My husband is the head coach of ***** Strong 13U. Our team plays football through *** .We have had multiple issues with the league. They are the only for profit youth league in town and definitely have a monopoly . Our team was to receive championship rings for our team.The cost of the rings is $1,200.This cost is part of registration for the players.We contacted *** (*****************) *************.He told ** that other teams picked up our rings. . Other teams received rings on the field but he was robbed apparently and not able to purchase yet. He said other coaches tricked his employee and picked up extra rings .He is basically told us that they do not have the rings and he believes they are no longer responsible for the rings.We need to be reimbursed for the new rings purchased.I have asked for the receipt for the rings he purchased. He has yet to respond.

      Hello,

      This team participated in the season and when set to pick up their rings, someone picked them up and did not deliver to the other players.  We are working to replace these.  They come from over seas and take many months to arrive.  The are 100% not $1200 for the team.  The average ring cost about $6 per player, so this is less than $200 total.  Team was given medals as well.  The league is communicating directly with the teams president who understands the situation and is coopering.  *** is under no obligation to show the ring order for the entire league to this one parent.  Rings are not ordered by team.  They are ordered for the entire league, encompassing several sports and divisions.

      No rings were picked up from our team ! Our team did not pick up the rings, We spoke with all coaches and parents.  We   were  told by NYS if we wanted to replace the rings that we never received that it would be $1200 for 36 championship rings.We just want our championship rings .My husband is being told he has to pay $1,200 this weekend if we want our rings for our season . We did come up with this amount.It was given to us from ***. And maybe they dont need to show ** the receipt, but they should have some kind of log for people picking up rings.I unfortunately do not believe they were picked up.They have no proof they were picked up . The team president is our OC coach . He is also aware that the rings were not picked up. We just want the rings for our players that they earned!

      The team was offered replacements at the cost of the league when they became available.  The order is from a company in ***** and they are placed in bulk.  


      Note the communication between the actual head of the Vegas Strong program essentially acknowledging extortion.  I have offered this team everything.  NO team in our league received a custom ring like the ones this team believes they deserve.  Champions get the same ring across 4 sports, nothing custom is ever ordered nor will it be.

       

      That being said, I have arranged these rings for the actual person in charge at MY cost despite the theft.

      My husband and I paid for my childs registration to play one of the sports that *** offers to the public, bought all of her equipment and paid for a team Jersey, and we had a family emergency on the day the jerseys were handed out, so the coach offered to bring it for the picture day we agreed so, when we showed up the jersey given to us looked like it would fit a two year old not a 9yo when asked another parent: she said:weird! I bought a medium and got a large this is usually an indication that the coach let the parents hand pick whatever jersey they wanted rather than what parents had ordered I right away told the coach that the jersey he gave me is too small, he said he was going to talk to his team two weeks later nothing! I texted in the group chat that if anyone had a large jersey and they had ordered a small to please trade with me the volunteer coach kicked me out of the group parent chat and it is ignoring me 100% I feel hopeless because I paid for a YL jersey and for my kid to have a good season and now the money I paid and services have not being rendered at all! I have no idea when practices or games are going to happen Now I lost money, my kid is sad, and dont even have a jersey I mean this *** is scamming people. Today I found out after all of this that my child was added as an extra to an existing team which makes more sense for the coach to just kick my kid off the team so far we had 3 practices and my kid was able to attend one it is not right for you to take my money, place my child on an existing team and not even give me the jersey I paid for and to top it off the coach kicks me out of the group chat excluding me as a parent of a teammate it is important that when paying for a service, you should get that service rendered! If not then the paying customer should get a full refund.

      Good morning,

      I believe my Co Worker spoke with your husband.  We tried to look up your account, but as you were not the person that registered your child, we could not find your child.  That being said, we believe ***** spoke to your husband yesterday.

       

      We are sorry that your child had issues with the jersey size.  We try and make sure each team gets what they ordered, but once the box leaves our offices, they are in the hands of a parent volunteer.  Not every volunteer is built the same.  Many are in their first season.  This is a first season team that your child was on, not a "returning team" as we are able to tell.  

       

      Had you contacted our office during our open hours, we would have happily exchanged the jersey size for you.  Unfortunately, it seems you reached out after hours in a rush for an event after we were closed for the day.  I do however know that your child was refunded for this season already.
