1 starOur experience with Posh Moving and Storage was upsetting on every level.
During the move, nearly everything of value was damaged:
Several pieces of furniture arrived broken or scratched
My motorcycle sustained damage
Our eBike was also mishandled and no longer works properly
But most disturbing of all: valuable items disappeared from sealed boxes. The boxes themselves arrived—but certain high-value items that were packed inside are now missing. We are currently in the process of filing a police report regarding the missing property.
We cannot say what exactly happened during the move, but the fact remains that these items are gone, and the circumstances raise very serious concerns.
If you’re considering this company, I urge you to be extremely cautious. This has been one of the most stressful and disappointing experiences we’ve had.Review fromHarley S

1 starWow it seems the reviews seems consistent with my own experience with this company. They broke 80% of my stuff from my move to Las Vegas from LA. They piled my stuff in the back of the truck so everything at the bottom got damaged. Cracked and destroyed my 85” tv, my expensive furnitures destroyed and many crushed boxes with broken glasses. They hire 20 year old Mexican kids with no experience. This kids weigh about 140lbs with no muscle and they are hired to move your furniture. I wish I can post pictures on how they loaded my stuff on the truck when they delivered it to me. The finishing touch was leaving all the boxes and tapes for me to clean up and told me it wasn’t their responsibilityReview fromMandy L

1 starStay away from this moving company! They are liars, they will damage your equipment and not take any responsibility for it. Their movers Are not professional. After using the service and the company That they are contracted with, **** van lines, I received an additional invoice for roughly $384. This was the hidden charges that I kept asking about that. They told me that there was none. the problem is that when I tried to dispute the hidden charges they threatened to send me to collection. Here’s the kicker I’ve been paying the additional $384 made an agreement with Posh moving for them to remove the late fee and I would pay the balance. Those jerks sent me to a collection agency anyways, so now I have a collection agency harassing me every day, while I’m paying and have paid this outstanding balance that I shouldn’t be paying in the first place. Talk about lack of integrity, lack of business etiquette, lack of not even caring about the fact that they lie to everybody in the most stressful situation that people have which is Moving Again, let me reiterate, they agreed to remove the late fee in exchange for payment of the invoice and They still hired a collection agency who is literally harassing me 5xs a day. Just don’t use this company. Just don’t. Don’t use them locally, don’t use them period.Review fromGene A

1 star?? Moving Disaster with ******** Van Lines & Posh Moving ??
I recently hired ******** Van Lines for my relocation, and it turned into a complete nightmare. ******** brokered my move to an agent called Posh Moving, despite assuring me that their own trucks and movers (trained by "******** Lines University") would handle the job.
Not only were my belongings significantly damaged, but I was also fraudulently charged for a shuttle that never happened. They claimed my belongings would be shuttled a few miles to a larger truck, but instead, they drove the truck directly to Vegas—a blatant misrepresentation and overcharge. I trusted ******** to handle everything with care, but instead, I received damaged furniture and other personal items. I'm now stuck in a frustrating situation, trying to resolve this mess.
If you're considering using ******** Van Lines or Posh Moving, think twice. I’m currently filing claims and complaints with FMCSA and the BBB due to their fraudulent charges, negligence, and lack of professionalism. Don’t be fooled by their promises—your belongings and your wallet deserve better.
Save yourself the headache and avoid these companies at all costs.Review fromMichelle O

1 starIt’s now the 4th delay. I had movers on the 22nd of July in San Diego CA pick up my things for a move to NC. I was quoted a window of drop off from 7/27-8/9 and was told by my account manager that I was expected to be at the drop off location for that entire window because I would only receive a 48hr notice of when the delivery would take place. I bought a plane ticket and flew to NC to stay in a hotel starting 7/31. On 3 different occasions I verified that the worse case scenario for drop off was to be 8/9 and was told yes. I start my new job the 14th and wanting time to unpack and settle in prior to my start date. On 8/3 I was told that my items were to be loaded into the truck on 8/6. I couldn’t believe it had been 16 days and it wasn’t even on a truck at that point. It was obvious that an 8/9 drop off wasn’t happening. I have spoken with at least 5 different people hearing a different excuse every time for the cause of delay. Hearing that my load was too small so it wasn’t “economical” for them to do the transport (then don’t take the damn job), then it was the driver was sick, then it was the truck broke down in Vegas, and then it was the truck broke down in Utah. It is now 8/10 and I was just told that it would be another 7-10 business days for the delivery to get to NC. That puts them having my things for a month, possibly more. I am out thousands of dollars at this point between having to eat out and pay for temp housing. I paid for a hotel until the 7th and financially couldn’t afford to continue so I have “moved in” to my new place with only a suitcase of clothes. No bed, no towels, no pans, etc. I start work on the 14th and have no work attire, none of my toiletries, blow dryer, make up, hair products, etc. I have now been told they have 30 days before I have any legal recourse and they can just do as they please until then. How is any of this acceptable? If my stuff shows up I’m worried now things will be missing or broken. It all just feels like a scam.Review fromSahaar A

1 starThis company is highly unethical, sold me a contract under false pretenses, they damaged many of my products and offered me penny’s to the dollar in a contract that basically stated I was not to complain. There movers tried to offer me a deal where I would pay them money directly instead of paying the company which was completely sketchy. Over all my experience with this company was completely unsatisfactory and I would not recommend them to anyone PLEASE CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSEReview fromRICHARD B

Rick: Posh...I thought they were sketchy due to logistics. They couldn't give me an exact pick up date, only a two day window. Then the gave me the day but didn't show up until 5PMl.
They then did a terrific job of packing everything and stayed till 10PM to get it done. Two very pleasant guys.
Then I was upset due to my not getting my stuff for 9 calendar days. I missed their contract entry that stated 1 to 10 (business) days to delivery. Once they got it scheduled my stuff arrived and the great guys delivered and assembled all that had been disassembled and asked if there was anything else they could do. Other than my impatience and lack of knowing just when I would get my stuff, I was a very satisfied customer. Happy to recommend.Posh Moving & Storage

1 starThis moving company was awful. Damaged alot of my items and there were items that were not packed properly or at all. The movers that arrived to drop off broke one of my vases because it was not wrapped. They also had my things mixed up with another customer, they almost gave me someone else’s stuff. The movers even stated that the company did not label or pack properly and that the company was awful to use. I filed a claim and got nowhere near the value of my items because they do $.0.30 per lb. Will never use again or refer anyone. If anything stay away!Review fromRuby N
