Took my dog to be groomed today. Advised of no health issues no medical problems of any kind. Advised it was puppies first groom service to be extra careful with her. Was called 2 1/2 hours later being told my dog had died. The women claimed the dog spun around on the leash a few times on the table and began spitting out blood for no reason. They stated they did CPR for 20 mins then called us to let us know the dog had passed away. They said they suspected a heart attack. The dog had no medical conditions and had recently been at the vet. The dog had blood in its mouth and coming out of its nose when we arrived. They kept saying they didnt know what happened. We suspect they left the dog unattended on the cutting table and it strangled it self. We want this place investigated for negligence and we are looking into legal action.

The dog did pass away in our care. Which we feel horrible about. We did not leave the dog unattended on the table. It was just like any other groom we have performed here. My groomer got the dog from the cage to bring her to the table to start the groom. He started to brush her out first than do the Sani and cleaning around her paws then did her nails. After nails the dog became wild she started jumping and throwing her head around twisting and turning spinning around (this was a mater of seconds). My groomer had to release her from the lead around her neck. she seemed fine and he proceeded with the groom. Then moments later she collapse in his hands he immediately asked for help. And I ran over to start C.P.R. we all tried to revive her. But she was gone. This is truly devastating for everyone involved. This is the last thing anyone wants to happen. We have been doing this for a long time working with dogs and it breaks our hearts that this happen, We love dogs. and we are sorry that this happened here in our care.
