    This complaint is in regards to Ridgeview by Vintage located at **** ******** ***. Reno, NV 89512. I moved into their 3bedroom apartment in June/ Beginning of July and have had reached out to their business since moving in regarding the odor of animal feces in the apartment's carpet, I was told they would be cleaned but never happened. I paid $200 out of pocket to clean the carpets myself without any reimbursement or follow up from their management. I have reached out repeatedly regarding the exposure of second hand smoke from cigarettes and marijuana in which have caused my children asthmatic reactions, exacerbation and acute respiratory distress to all 4 of my children. I have reached out via email with evidence of mold, rat/mice feces inside the refrigerator, cockroaches. I was told pest control would be coming into my apartment to exterminate, I have cameras in my apartment which proves none of the sort happened except for sticky traps being placed which had already been placed and did not resolve any issues. I told management and they have not followed up. I have tried numerous times to conact them via email, in person, and phone call for 3 months. I have provided medical provider documents asking them to relocate us due to the medical condition and damages the second hand smoke exposure is causing.

    The water heater in the apartment unit I reside in broke on July 20th 2023. I reported the incident to the complex on the same day. They haven’t tried their best to fix it nor have they showed any sympathy towards my Family. They only removed the water from the floor which has cause mold to start growing. Today is July 24th 2023 the water heater is not yet fixed and management can only tell me to boil buckets of water. The manager Michelle was very rude and when she noticed I wasn’t happy washing my 3 month old and toddler in buckets for a week she gave me a key to an empty apartment unit. That is very unprofessional and something I’ve never heard of. I feel instead of finding another work around this problem should’ve been confronted head on. The management and maintenance were terrible in communication and they still won’t tell me when this will be fixed. I don’t know if they plan on helping or what the next steps are this is my first apartment and the second major water leak since having lived here in February 2023. Prior to moving in they mentioned mold being in the unit previously and I fear it has come back with these major leaks. I have to kids in the unit under the age of 3 and management won’t take the necessary steps to help my family. Please get back to me ASAP ###-###-#### or *********************
