On October 4th, 2023, I purchased a Vitacci Tank 200 Scooter from Scooter City in Reno, Nevada. About 2 weeks ago, I started hearing a really high pitched whistle coming from the engine every time I gave it any amount of gas. Sounds like a vacuum leak. I took the cover off the stator on the right side and can see oil caked up on the engine (see snapshot_002). I also noticed oil on top of the engine (see snapshot_001) and what looks like oil coming out of the head gasket (see snapshot_004). I immediately took the scooter to Reno City and when I showed him the pictures, at first he said that it wouldn't be under warranty. I reminded him it states on his receipt that the engine has a 1 year warranty. He then said he doesn't like working on anything the customer has worked on themselves. I stated that the only thing I have ever worked on was changing the oil and sparkplug which he, himself, gave me instructions on how to do. His next excuse was that he didn't know how I drive the scooter and gave me the name of another place to take it to. There is exactly 600 miles on the scooter. I just want this scooter fixed. The address on the BBB website is not accurate. He is no longer on Rock Blvd. The current address is: *** ****** ** **, Reno, NV 89502. Phone number is correct.
