    **** was very rude when trying to perform any type of conversation. My husband worked there a short time and he was rude, degrading and mean . When asking **** to provide documentation that was needed after separation from this business he cursed at us and was very unprofessional offering no assistants

    This is very unusual since Greg's Garage is located in **** ****** and your zip code is somewhere near ********** ********. Also, I treat customer's and employee's with appreciation and understanding. Plus, I have a General Manager to run day-to-day operations.

    On March 2, 2023, we took our ****** Crosstrek into Gregs Garage for some basic service, including a CVT transmission service fluid change. Immediately upon receiving the car and driving away, multiple dashboard warning lights lit up simultaneously. Gregs Garage diagnosed the problem to be the Transmission Control Module (***). They had to order the part, we received the repaired car on March 21 (invoice $1400.66). Within a day, we had the same issue. I stopped by the local *********** dealer. His immediate comment was that they rarely if ever see a *** go out, and that Gregs Garage likely misdiagnosed the problem. *********** diagnosed the problem to be with the valve body. ****** fixed the car with no problems ever since.This started the dialogue with Gregs Garage, we were passed off to their customer service manager *****. We told them we thought their repair was a misdiagnosis and that we wanted some financial consideration for their error.Lances first theory was that BOTH the *** and the valve body were bad. I reiterated that ****** was very confident that they misdiagnosed the problem. Then ***** asked me if I still had the old *** part. They were willing to reinstall the old *** (presumably so that they could return the new part and get their money back!). What reputable mechanic would offer to reinstall a presumably defective part? At that point, I told him that we were not looking for a complete refund, and that we would be satisfied to split the difference. A $700 obligation for both of us. He said he would speak to the owner **** and get back to me. That was the last weve heard from ***** or anyone at Gregs garage. We never saw or spoke with ****, He was probably out fishing or making more commercials to lure people in. Their service is a joke, never again will we use Gregs Garage.
