      Soooo let's go back a few years when this bank (and it's parent company, ZION'S BANK) had a class action lawsuit for charging overdraft fees unfairly. I remember having to sign a form stating that I wanted any and all DEBITS denied if I didn't have enough funds in there. I signed the form and they "lost" it. They let a debit go through for $36.00 (I hardly use this account and it was one of those "subscriptions" that I didn't know was reoccurring. Either way, it should have been declined. Nope! They sent that sucker through then charged me $29 for the overdraft fee AFTER they paid it! I called customer service and they said they cannot reverse the fee because I already used my "ONE PER YEAR" fee reversal. I said but this is not my fault you should have declined the transaction. When I told the branch manger that I remember signing the paper to do so, she started saying how they "code" things and blah blah blah. I know that is wasn't an ACH (that's like writing a check). It was a DEBIT. Then I told her I signed that paper and she said they don't have it on file. How would I remember signing it, or even what it is and the shady way these people run their bank if I never signed anything??? When I called customer service to reverse it and asked why there was a lift on that she said they can't find it either??? They both at that point reenrolled me to "OPT OUT"??? But they still can't reverse the fee??? WARNING!!! Make sure you ask on a monthly basis if they still have you enrolled. These people LOVE those fees and won't reverse them for ANYTHING, even if it it THEIR FAULT!!! SHADY!!! This bank is SHADY!!!!!!! Sounds like they haven't learned their ****** from the first time...I see a second lawsuit coming up. I'll research and social media to see if this is happening to more than just me! Customer service at this bank it TERRIBLE!

      This bank is horrible for placing holds on obviously good and secure checks. It is definitely up to the branch manager to decide to place holds on checks or not. Even if youve never had any reclamations (returned check deposits), they will place a hold if youve had any overdrafts or you dont keep a lot of cash in their institution. As soon as all my ******** holds are cleared Im moving all my funds out of this god forsaken bank. If youre a small business, I would not bank there as they are not friendly to you and couldnt give a ****. I bank at the South ****** Street branch which was ok until they switched out the branch manager. The new management is a disaster, and the staff are horrible. I even had one teller admit that they had several class action lawsuit settlement checks come through and not everyone had holds placed on them. If you have money rotting away in their accounts, you may get preferable treatment. So long NSB. Youve just lost another customer. I hope more people leave your rotten institution after they get sick and tired of holding their money hostage.
