      On 11/22/2022 I went to Hutch's car wash via the Express $5 lane. At the kiosk I was approached by a man offering me a full month of car washes for $10. I agreed and paid. There was no mention that they would keep my credit card on file and continue to charge me monthly which is what happened. I used my unlimited $10 car washes for the month and then did not return as I knew it had expired on !2/22/2022.

      Recently I went for another $5 car wash (February) and tried to pay at the automated kiosk. To my surprise the entry gate lifted as I was making my selections. This seemed odd to me. I came home and investigated my credit card bill.

      I found the following charges by Hutch's Car Wash (see attached). $10 on 11/22/2022 - original charge, $10 on 12/22/2022, $10 on 1/22/2022, and $29.99 on 2/22/2022!!! When I called them to object and tell them that I felt that fraudulent charges were made on my card. The lady would not listen to me, talked over me, and told me if I had read the bottom of my teeny tiny little receipt that is the same as one always gets from the machine that it said they would be charging me monthly at $10/month for three months and then would continue at the regular monthly charge of $29.99.

      I said that this was fraud and I would be reporting them to the BBB. She said it didn't matter as they printed it on the receipt even though I hadn't been told verbally. She said she would end it now if I gave my name. She then hung up after saying she had stopped the charges. I have not yet gone in to see if this true and will not know until I receive a credit card bill.

      So I have now paid $49.99 for one $5 car wash.
