In Jan 2025 I was contacted to sign and notarize a document prepared by owner back in 2022. I was assured it was change of “verbiage only.” I was kept in the office for better side of half hour or more listening to personal stories of relationships I had no interest in. I was asked questions regarding my separation and current life situation. I thought it to be odd, but prior interactions with owner were more professional and I was now late for work & appointments so I signed document requested and left. Later I was informed the owner was dating my husband and digging details of my life to later share. My confidential meeting with the owner was not confidential, but spoken without my consent over and over with others including my husband whom I am legally separated from. He has repeated these things to common relations. I feel I was manipulated, deceived and taken advantage of because I am yet to be shown exactly what verbiage was changed, why it was brought to her attention and took 3 years to be brought to mine and not until she was involved romantically with him. Make no mistake, this is a conflict of interest not jealousy. I’m concerned for both my own and husbands finances. Any confidential info and personal information she gained site of professionally being spoken of outside the perimeter necessary. She has neglected giving me the opportunity to chose another consultant, used her knowledge of my personal confidential thoughts and documents maliciously and has no integrity. I believe her license or credentials should be revoked. I am owed an apology and the documents she submitted be dismissed and redone at her cost by another business. She’s caused me undo stress, embarrassment and worry.Business Response

Dear *****,
I want to address your concerns regarding the QDRO services I provided. In late 2021, I was contacted by both your attorney and ***** ******** attorney to draft and send final three certified QDROs to the plan administrators. These documents were reviewed by both parties, their attorneys, and the respective plan administrators before being signed by both of you and certified by the court. Once the certified QDROs were submitted to the plan administrators for processing, my professional services were completed. You were provided with all necessary contact information and instructions on the next steps.
The two certified defined contribution QDROs were successfully processed, and the funds were transferred by the plan administrators. The third QDRO, related to a pension plan, was not processed at that time due to the plan administrator's requirements and the fact that ***** ****** was not yet at retirement age. The plan administrator later determined that an update was needed. They attempted to contact you multiple times without response and eventually reached out to me in December 2024 for assistance.
At their request, I worked with the plan administrator to update the necessary information without requiring an amended QDRO or further court action. I then contacted both you and ***** ****** to review and sign the updated documentation. During our meeting, I offered you the opportunity to review the paperwork, but you declined, stating, “No, I trust you.” You then signed the document, and I provided you with a copy of the update and the correspondence from the plan administrator.
At no point did I disclose any confidential information regarding your case. Additionally, I had no access to your financial accounts or personal financial details beyond what was necessary to draft the QDROs.
I understand that personal circumstances can influence perspectives, but I want to clarify that I handled this matter with professionalism and integrity. I regret that you have chosen to address this situation through public platforms instead of discussing any concerns directly with me. If you or your attorney have any remaining questions, I am happy to address them through appropriate channels.
I sincerely wish you the best, moving forward.Customer Answer

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:
I have made attempts to resolve my issues with The ******* Group. I was informed by ***** ****** that my phone number had been blocked. While I appreciate the explanation given now two months after the event, Ms. ******* is yet to address the conflict of interest. Mrs ******* explained she could look at my separation agreement when she was at home to provide me further details on a few questions I did ask. This, proving my point about about person information on both my husband and myself. I shared a confidential personal statement with her about my separation which later resulted in that action being taken against me. Ms ******* dating, sleeping with etc any client that is still married and their spouse being considered a client, which we were both clients, is a conflict of interest. Why did you not remove yourself and offer me an option. What you did left me feeling not only betrayed, deceived and a bit disgusted, but owed an apology and still an explaination of why you feel it was okay? You inserted yourself into our then amicable relationship and have in turn managed to cause havoc and undo stress to both *****, myself and our adult children. You have a responsability to disclose or remove yourself. I have attempted to reach you through phone, email and *****- I am yet to hear from you so I am left to believe your business had an additional plan with my husband and myself than just a QDRO.
it sickens me that women like you are in business. If you claim professionalism then act in such a way. You neglect to address your poor choice and lack of personal responsability and integrity.
Goid Luck,
Sincerely,
***** ******Business Response

*****,
I respectfully stand by my previous statement. The professional services I was hired to perform in 2021 were completed and reviewed by all parties, attorneys, and plan administrators. The follow-up in January 2025 was done at the request of the Plan Administrator and was limited to updating a letter regarding a pension plan. You were given the opportunity to review and ask questions about the document, and you chose not to.
On February 17, 2025, you informed me via text that you and your attorney had questions. I replied that I was happy to speak with your attorney to assist. You then responded that you had found the answers through other sources and no longer needed my help. Since that message, I have received no emails, calls, texts, or visits from you regarding this matter.
Your number and email are not and have never been blocked. You were given full access to contact me. I have at no point withheld information or refused to answer questions.
Accusations regarding my personal life are inappropriate, unfounded, and irrelevant to the professional services rendered. Any relationship I may have formed after services were completed and long after communication had ceased between you and my office does not retroactively create a conflict of interest, nor does it negate the work completed in good faith years prior.
I will not engage further in back-and-forth exchanges rooted in personal attacks and misinformation. I have documented all communications, and should this matter escalate further into defamation or harassment, I will be prepared to take appropriate legal action to protect my reputation and business.
I wish you peace and healing.
