      12-4-2023 6 pm I was bidding on this wall clock with 1 min left and I was the highest bidder at $50 I watched and the seconds ticked away down to closing item with 3 seconds left when out of the blue the time jumped back to 3 minutes with no one else bidding until it was down again to 2 minutes and I lost the bid.This is bad service from this company and I have reported to them this issue before. Someone goes into the listing and resets the time again.

      This complaint against our local company is unfair and untrue.  I am a franchisee with 0% control over this national system.   I am one of 300 plus Caring Transitions Offices.   I I will send the complaint to corporate for an explaination, but can can tell you it has been vetted by the millions of bidders nationally.  There is a "soft close" feature which resets the clock every time someone bids.  This helps our senior clients, who receive 100% of the purchase price, and is also fairer because the person who wants the item most wins.  One way to prevent losing an item is to put a proxy bid on an item (maximum bid no one sees).  If the customer has any complaints there is a naitonal help line, ************.  The system is HIGHLY RATED by most of our customers.  If ****** wants to contact us directly I would be happy to explain this further.

      The business owner promised, in writing, that they would rather make special arrangements for me to have movers pick up the items that I purchased and then went back on his word demanding that I pay $75 to have an employee go to the pickup location and wait for ******** to arrive. He never, at any time, mentioned that I'd have to pay to make special arrangements. I purchased roughly $1000 worth of used bedroom furniture.

      Customer has changed her mind and is sending a mover out.  She missed her 3 possible pick-up times that we provided in the sale and ordered items that were clearly shown as not shippable.  Nevertheless, we bent over backwards to accomodate her.  She requested that we leave the furniture out on the driveway for her people to pickup sometime today.  Nothing was charged additional, despite the addiitonal effort.  This should resolve the issue.

      **It is important to understand that we are an auction company/liquidator.  Our customers are expected to claim their item (and do).  On very select (non furniture) items we will ship items to them, charging a handling fee and our shipping costs.  I'd be glad to provide additional information if necessary.
