Purchased the rifle from Guns.com on April 25,2025. They stated I must contact GForce.Arms due to the misfire.
On Saturday May 24, 2025, I was at our family ranch planning to do some target shooting with my new Saddlehorn 3030 rifle. I was only able to load 2 rounds into the rifle. I then fired the rifle . The bullet went into the target. The shell casing got stuck in the rifle, it did not eject the brass casing. At this point I put the rifle in the gun case and placed it in the car due to concerns that our family ranch is quite a distance from emergency services should an accident occur. It is important to note that I could only load 2 rounds into the rifle.
On Sunday May 25, 2025 we drove home from the ranch. We unloaded the car. I decided to try to eject the shell from the rifle. ******* was in the kitchen and I went into our main bathroom because the light is really good in that room, the other rooms in the home are dark. I also keep my rifles and guns in my bedroom closet. I placed the muzzel down on the floor on the bath mat so I would not scratch the rifle and the mat would keep it from sliding on the tile floor.
I cranked the lever forward and the shell which was stuck in the rifle the day before ejected. Knowing there was another round in the rifle, I thought it would be best to eject the 2nd round before putting the rifle away. I cranked the lever forward about 1/2 way down and the gun misfired. I did NOT pull the trigger.
The round fired and the bullet shattered the rug, ceramic tile and cement of the floor. The sound (BOOM)caused my ears to ring and alarmed ******* in the kitchen. Gunpowder filled the room as I covered my face with a towel and yelled for help. Minimal injuries described.
On the way to the emergency room my spouse called Bernaillo County Sheriff Department.
After over a month of medical appointments I was told by Guns.com and GForce they do not have any liability.Business Response

Dear Better Business Bureau and Mr. *****,
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns.
At GForce Arms, customer safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. Upon receiving your complaint regarding the Saddlehorn 3030 rifle, we immediately took your claims seriously and provided detailed instruction on how to return the firearm so we could inspect it. It was ultimately returned at GForce Arms' expense on June 11th. The firearm was tested with over 40 rounds by two independent firearms specialists and passed all function and safety tests. We were unable to replicate any of the malfunctions described by Mr. *****.
Based on these findings, there is no evidence of a manufacturing defect. However, in the spirit of good faith and customer support, we extended a full refund offer for the rifle, minus a standard $30 restocking fee. We understand this may be disappointing given the circumstances, but as the issue appears to be isolated and related to user handling, we cannot assume liability for hospital or medical costs.
Our goal has always been to approach this matter with empathy and professionalism. Please let us know if you would like to move forward with the refund, and we will be happy to assist.
Sincerely,***** *****

A refund was mailed out on Monday through USPS. As stated previously, we attempted to refund Mr. ***** over a week ago, but he refused and said he would seek legal counsel. Due to his delays, the check didn’t leave until he responded stating he would like a refund. We quickly responded to the complaint, cut a check, and sent it by mail.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: The "company is not telling the truth. We have not received the refund for the rifle yet. I have also understood the company does NOT refund the purchase price unless they find issues with the rifle. Obviously there are issues with the rifle. I will cut and paste an email sent to us yesterday from the manager. next there is no way to understand what it means, we did ask for clarification but have not heard back from them.**** ****

to ********, me, ****This is the response we got from Mr. ****:
"We got to he second Exodus out of ZGuns and prepping it to ship out." Who are they shipping the gun out to and why? I ask. We asked the gun be held at Z Force and now they are sending it out to Z Guns? This message was sent to us from Mr. ****, we did ask for clarification and have not heard back from him at GForce guns as of yet. "I believe ZGuns has a role in this situation and NO one at Gforce Guns has disclosed this to us. This Company, GForce and Mr.**** are not being truthful.
The company stating that we refused a refund is an absolute lie. I have email proof that we agreed and have the refund money, and there is far more than the refund of the rifle that is due. There is lost wages and medical bills associated with this claim.
I do not accept this response. They are not being truthful or acting in good faith.
Sincerely,

Hi All,
Nothing has changed with the status of this complaint since our last response. As previously stated, the check was mailed on Monday, June 30th. Please allow at least the week to receive the refund check.
We feel it’s necessary to reiterate the company’s stance on the matter. GForce Arms has gone above and beyond to help Mr. ***** by providing a refund at his dealer’s value, minus the restocking fee. Safety instructions are included on our website and in every user manual that is sold with a firearm to ensure proper use of firearms and to help prevent unsafe practices and accidents. Mr. *****’s experience is defined by our firearms specialist as a “user error” and does not fall within our warranty policy.
Regarding the refund, below is the email thread where Ms. ****** ***** from GForce Arms’ customer service department expressed compassion for Mr. *****’s experience and stated we would issue a refund on June 17th.

Hi *******,
We feel bad for you and your situation, but unfortunately, since the firearm isn’t defective, we can only offer you a refund minus the restocking fee. We typically don’t allow returns unless there is a manufacturer defect, but we are making an exception. We will issue the refund today if you can please confirm where you would like a check sent.
We truly do wish you the best in your recovery!
Thank you,

Hello everyone, we need to wait until Thursday or Friday before anybody proceeds with anything.
This is an unfortunate situation, exactly. There are consequences for unfortunate situations.
We have acted in good faith, it is unfortunate Gforce has not.
I will contact everyone by COB on Friday to bring this matter to your attention.
Thank you ******* and ****”GForce Arms received a response at 2:30pm on Friday, June 20th stating they would indeed like a refund as we proposed. GForce Arms was able to respond to this email on June 27th stating that we would issue a refund immediately, which was issued that day and picked up by USPS on Monday, June 30th.
GForce Arms will not respond any further regarding this matter unless the check does not arrive by Friday, July 11th. This should allow ample time for the check to be delivered by USPS. Please notify us if the check does not arrive and we will reissue.

I am rejecting this response because: The company is not working in good faith. There is no user error. We both have used firearms for target practice for over 20 years. This rifle has a defect and now they company is going to sell it to someone else. Shame on GForce and Guns.comThese excuses make the politics to restrict sales of firearms. These companies are at fault and get away with horrible impacting customers. Shame on both. I am still having to go to surgeons to fix the misfire this rifle caused. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
Maybe a civil court could resolve this.
Sincerely,

On 9/13/2024, I purchased a GForce Arms GF3P Shotgun from SportsmansGuide. I paid 112.00 for it, as it was on clearance. Now I see why.
I received the shotgun a few days later. As always when purchasing a new gun, I read the manual for any information out of the norm. (When I say out of the norm, I mean something that I may not have seen before. I am a full time Firearms Instructor, and teach pistols, shotguns, both pump, and semi-auto, among many other guns) I also, after clearing the weapon, I work the action numerous times. I test the safety numerous times. I also dry fire to check for proper function. During the dry-fire, I noticed the hammer was not moving forward, and the trigger was very gritty, and felt as if it was not moving straight rearward. Sometimes it was fine. I noticed it seemed to do it more often than not after the trigger was engaged then disengaged.
I contacted GForce through the warranty department. I explained the issue. Through several emails back and forth, I was asked what specific part I needed. I explained to be safe, it would be best to send the complete trigger group. I was told they don't have a complete trigger group. Where are the ones they are putting into the guns!? Further, the complete trigger group is commonly available for any other shotgun....
After a couple emails, I advised I would still like to get the complete trigger group. I got no response.
On 10/8/2004, I called to see what was going on. It sounded as if it was foreign to them. I was told again they didn't have complete trigger groups, and a gunsmith could fix it. I advised I could send the old trigger group back, but they still insisted on wasting my time, with a BRAND NEW shotgun.
These guns were on clearance at SportsmansGuide. It's pretty clear that both companies knew of this issue and were offloading them cheaply, hoping buyers would not pursue remedy. BOTH companies are complicit in an obvious scam.
