  Giving only one star because of a problem getting my title for a cash deal on a 2021 Toyota purchase. Dolan charges a $500 documentation fee to buy a car from them. When they botched the documentation sent to *** they would not resolve the problem. I kept getting the response well I did my job, sorry your car title has not arrived. They pointed to *** as being at fault. What really happened is that they left the lien ************ blank on the title transfer form. *** rejected the form and returned it to Dolan Toyota, who promptly lost the rejection. The poor Title clerk at Dolan who I spoke with several times thought all was fine. *** does not accept phone calls or email questions about the status of my car title. I finally contacted my state Assembly representative who actually responded and helped me out by contacting the Titles Manager at ***. The *** Title person let me know what happened to my title request. When I relayed that information to the Title person at Dolan, they had no idea the Title form had been rejected, because it was lost at their office when returned by ***. I called Dolan multiple times including two to the finance guy who sold me the car. No response of any kind from the finance guy at Dolan, even an email went without an answer. So they got my money and I had no proof I owned the car. Dolan dropped the ball here. When I asked for money back from the documentation fee for doing their job and spending my time tracking this all down, Dolans general manager ignored me. So bottom line, I will buy my next car elsewhere. By the way I am a senior who does not appreciate being blown off by a big company. My title arrived 5 months after the purchase.

  I had gone into Dolan to buy a new truck I was a returning customer and would have traded my vehicle in. What I wanted was not on the lot so I picked an incoming vehicle that almost was exactly what I was looking for, so I put cash down on the vehicle. I kept in contact with them over the weeks and on July 3rd was told the vehicle was being built out, so I thought it would be a few weeks longer than expected. I contacted them July 26, finally got ahold of the salesman the next day and he told me the vehicle had sold. After some digging the vehicle arrived July 13 sold on July 15, I was never contacted not by the salesman nor by anyone at Dolan The salesman lied and said he tried reaching out. Phone records prove otherwise. DO NOT GO TO DOLAN TOYOTA in **** garbage personnel!!!!

  Finance director and others were ***** in answering a finance-related complaint. Highly recommend Dolan Toyota after working with the finance director and support staff. If you can not get any issues resolved over phone or email - go in person - the staff here will hear your out.
